The Helheim Institute used to be a castle before it was transformed into one of the most expensive and exclusive boarding schools in the whole world.

And to be honest it looked way bigger and more impressive in person, than it did in photos; not that there were lots of pictures, but I had found a few in their website and in a couple of articles and magazines.

I still could not believe I was there, it felt like a dream, one absolutely breathtaking. Standing in the middle of the entrance hall I was completely shocked by the high ceiling, the glass painted dome, the gold chandelier hanging right above the main stairs, the dark wood floor that combined perfectly with the wine-red walls which were adorned with tiny little gold flowers, and a couple of old looking paintings of the castle and the gardens.

-Miss Walton? - called me one of the teachers breaking my little bubble and bringing me back to reality.

-Yes, sorry- I apologized ashamed, I hadn't really listened to him at all, he probably realized that because he proceeded to repeat himself.

-I was just telling you that Miss Kacey Simon here will give you a small tour around the school after dinner and will show you to your room- continued the man in front of me signaling to the tiny blond girl standing next to him. I hadn't really noticed her. I needed to start paying more attention if I wanted to survive in that giant school, but, had he just mentioned dinner? I did not even realize that it was dark outside, God I really needed to stop daydreaming.

-Hi Sophia- greeted Kacey- Mr. Davis will make sure your stuff gets to your room, but we must hurry because dinner has already started-

I just nodded in response and followed the blonde girl through the large empty halls.

-Where is everybody? - I finally asked after realizing we had not come across a single soul since I entered the Institute, although, I knew there were not many alumni since it was supposed to be one of the most private elite expensive schools in the world.

-They must be at the dining hall right now- answered Kacey- The buffet starts at 8 o'clock and it closes at 9:30 for dinner, for breakfast you'll have to be here at 7am because it's over by 8, classes start 8:30, and then it opens again for lunch from 12 to 3:30pm, although you can come to grab something whenever you feel like it during your free periods or in your way to class if you've got the time between those hours, there are always some snacks-

I would have loved to have somewhere to write that, because I was almost sure I would forget about that schedule, and I was really going to need to draw a map if I wanted to get anywhere at all.

-Don't worry, every single rule and itinerary will be on your welcoming flier among your class schedule- explained the blonde girl after seeing the look of anguish painted all over my face- Your room is 215 right? In the west wing-

-I think so...-I answered uncertain.

-Great you'll have a room of your own, students here, on the west wing first floor have to share rooms, with bunk beds, but students on the second floor have all individual rooms, there's also people with certain privileges that get a room on the east wing- commented Kacey- They probably already told you this, I'm sorry if I'm ranting, what I wanted to say is that my room is 203 so I'll be right down the hallway in case you need anything-

-Thank you- I said smiling, I liked her already, she was nice- I want to know as much as there is to know about this place, so it's ok, and they actually didn't tell me about the rooms, to be honest it was my father who made the arrangements with the school, I'm quite clueless about everything. What is with the east wing anyways? -

-Oh, that's where the cool kids live- answered Kacey with a sarcastic tone- It is reserved for the real rich genius kids-

-I thought this school was full of those- I joked confused.
