And guess what. Gautam ettan and Preethi decided to get married. All fairytale-y, just like the romantic couple they were. They met in college, had their whole 'both blind to each other's love' phase going on, and suddenly they were these unseparable love birds who are now hitching. I guess 'hitchin's' a word, isn't it?. Their destined, fateful romance aside, you know what this calls for. A BIG FAT INDIAN WEDDING. And not just any Indian wedding , like any hollywood movie would show a crowded street from Mumbai and call it India, cause guess what, India has a north and a south too you dumbass european and american citizens (that's me not being racist),it calls for a BIG FAT SOUTH INDIAN HINDU WEDDING. And nothing excited me like a bigg wedding in your own family.

But how do you know that? I've barely introduced myself. So here's the cliche introduction i give to all the aunties and uncles who ask about me, an unmarried kutty,to which i repeat,

"I'm Sreemayi, 24 years old, working for a creative writing company in banglore"-which invite furthermore unwanted questions about my job and my age and the life goals I'm yet to achieve at my age, but lets not go over there. To my family, and most of my friends, I was either Ammu, or Sreekutty, and lets just say i prefer Ammu due to some unexplainable fondness over the name.

Too much info for your head for one day, I would presume. Wait around for tomorrow.

Ettan: Malayalam word for brother

Kutty: Malayalam word for child,or a fond way of calling younger ones

PS: Malayalam is the language of a south indian state called Kerala, and again if you only know of Mumbai and Delhi, thats very presumptious of you
