Charles Hotel

"Love is in the air.F1 driver Lydia Hatzi spotted with unknown man walking down the paddock today. Would that possibly be a new F1 couple?"

Charles breathed heavily while reading the twitter on his best friend's phone. He couldn't believe it. Anger started growing inside him making his teeth clench.

"Pierre what the fuck is this?" He asked his best friend, looking straight at him in the eyes, trying to sound as calm as he could just to not attract any attention.
"I don't know Charles".

Pierre of course knew about the situasionship Charles and Lydia had. Charles always asked about Pierre's opinion on the girl. He wanted to be careful to not fuck things up.

"Where the fuck did you find this Pierre?"he asked.
"I found this on twitter. I am as shocked as you are"

But he knew that Charles wasn't only shocked. He was heartbroken, and he could understand that. He felt betrayed.

"If she wants to have it that way, let her be" he said.
"Charles don't jump into conclusions. Maybe he is a friend of hers"
"Yes. Her boyfriend" he replied
"What if she wants to test you, or make you jealous."
"She isn't that type of girl" Charles said taking a deep breath. Pierre was now really worried about his best friend.

"Charles maybe you should talk to her before you do anything"
He looked at his best friend. His face expression suddenly changed. He looked at him. His stare now cold and blank.
"Whatever. I'm done with her"
"Charles come on. Don't be like that"
"No Pierre. I obviously waisted my time"
Getting up he turned to his best friend one more time.
"I have to go. I'm here to work anyway. I'll see you later"he said before leaving.
"Charles" Pierre said making his best friend turning to look at him.
"I'm fine" Charles replied back, and left before Pierre could say anything else.

Pierre watched him as he left. Taking back his phone he looked on the screen, seeing the tweet, watching the picture that was with it.

He really liked her. He actually liked her, and they could have been a couple by the time they left Bahrain if it wasn't for that god damn gossip. Pierre knew how Charles was about relationships and he knew how he was when it came to the brunette girl. He was ready to do anything for her. Pierre felt sorry for them.

11:34 a.m
Half an hour later Charles was sitting at the media couch. He hadn't seen her yet. He was so mad and so confused at the same time. He felt so betrayed. All those feelings, all those nights and still she betrayed him.

"And that's it. We are done for today. Thank you. Good luck on free practice."

And with that the press conference ended and Charles got up to leave the room. His body and mind filled with anger.

1:30 p.m
He kept avoiding her the whole day. Every time their eyes met he stare was cold and blank. Emotionless. But she didn't seem happy either. Her vibe was kinda off and she was acting strange.

They hadn't text the whole day. Only when he sent her "good morning <3" immediately after he woke up, which she responded back with a dry "morning".

Right now they were having a mini meeting before the first practice session. She was staring at him, desperate to notice her. She didn't understand why he was being like that. She was the one who got to be mad, not him. Maybe she should have talked to him about it instead of giving him the silent treatment.

As the meeting ended he looked at her for a split second before he got up getting out of the meeting room. Lydia thought that was her chance of talking to him and she got up, following him.
