Jing Yuan and Blade, or as Jing Yuan knows him, Ren, have been training under Jing Liu for a while, but he noticed that his skills haven't really improved and Jing Yuan improved a lot in just a week. Was it because he was getting extra practice under the instruction of Jing Liu? Whatever it was, he didn't really care because he wasn't going to be there for long anyway. They were around the age of 13 and 15. Jing Yuan is the younger one.
"Ren!! There you are!" Jing Yuan called out.
"What do you want Jing Yuan." Blade's cold voice would've made someone jump out of their skin, but it didn't do that to Jing Yuan. In fact, Blade's voice had no effect on Jing Yuan.
"I just wanted to come see you, that's all." Jing Yuan exclaimed.
"Whatever."
"Could you be a bit more brighter."
"No."
All Jing Yuan could do was roll his eyes.
Blade wasn't really doing much since he had just finished thinking about how he would make his disappearance. But at the same time, he felt like he was trapped here because of Jing Yuan. Blade knew that Jing Yuan would take it too lightly and try to find him. Blade decided to tell Jing Yuan something that needed to be said.
"J-." Right before Blade could call out to Jing Yuan, he stopped himself. Upon seeing the sight of Jing Yuan staring off into the sunset and watching the leaves fall. It was definitely a beautiful sight to see. Blade felt a slight bit of heat come to his face but dismissed it.
"Jing Yuan."
"Need something, Ren."
Ren walked towards Jing Yuan and hugged him. This is not something Blade would do with anyone. But, the fact that he hugged Jing Yuan was almost worrying.
"Ren. Why the sudden hug?"
"I'll miss you, A-Yuan."
"Ren..."
Blade let go of Jing Yuan and walked off back to the place where they stayed.
"Ren. Wait, what do you mean?"
Jing Yuan was met with silence.
"Don't dwell on it too much."
"If you say so."
They reached the place where they slept. Jing Yuan wanted to talk to Jing Liu. Blade walked back to his room. Blade knew this would affect Jing Yuan, but he chose to still go through with it anyway despite the known consequences.
"I'm sorry, Jing Yuan."
It was the next morning, and Jing Yuan woke up and went to go get Blade to get ready for breakfast, but when he walked into Blade's room, he didn't see Blade anywhere. Jing Yuan didn't think anything of it. He ran downstairs to see his teacher, Jing Liu, sitting down with a saddened look on her face.
"Master? Are you okay?" Jing Yuan asked
Jing Liu knew this news would absolutely crush Jing Yuan since he was the closest to Blade. Jing Liu wasn't close with Jing Yuan, but she hated seeing him hurt.
"Jing Yuan... I'm sorry, but Blade has gone missing." The second she finished that statement, Jing Yuan's eyes became watery, but she noticed he was trying to hold it back.
"Jing Yuan, come here, it's okay, we will find him." Jing Liu said while trying to comfort Jing Yuan. Jing Liu knew how much Jing Yuan liked training along with Blade.
She doesn't understand if Blade purposely left or if he was kidnapped, but Jing Liu knew one thing she won't let the same thing happen to Jing Yuan.
"Jing Yuan."
"Hm."
"I promise you I won't the same thing happen to you. We will find Blade."
"Don't worry master, I won't let anything happen to me." Jing Yuan was always a bright child, so to see him in that state made Jing Liu concerned about what truly happened. Jing Liu walked into the training grounds, and she saw Jing Yuan training.
"A cloud knight must never let slip their weapon, and never let slacken their form." Jing Yuan jumped and pointed his weapon in the direction which the noise came from.
"Master!? Don't do that!"
"At least your guard was not let down. Now, let's start today's training."
"Yes master."
