Sitting on the front step of a convenience store at midnight, favourite food and drink in hand. The wind may have been biting at your face, but you were snuggled into none other than Xiao. You both had a headphone in and were just sitting in silence, the music the only words you needed. This is what happiness felt like. It felt so surreal, and even more so when Xiao planted a small, cheeky kiss on your forehead. That gave you a feeling you hadn't felt before.

Neither you nor him moved for what felt like forever, God I wish this could last forever. He did turn his head a few times to steal a glance at you. You doing the same, a few times you caught each other's eyes, and then both turn away blushing. Your hands find each other and grasp tight, but not too tight. It was peaceful, you felt free. Everything was lifted off your chest, even that test you haven't been studying for.

"We erm, should probably get going." His voice made you jump a little, not because he was loud it was a sudden noise.

"Ah yeah, your right."

Two car doors slammed shut, with both people in Xiao drove off. The radio was a great ambience to the city lights and cars outside. "Hey Y/N, you awake?"

"Yeah," Though your voice hinted otherwise. "What's up?"

"Thank you for tonight, it was quite nice." He was lucky it was dark, you were sure he was blushing.

"You're welcome."

Your eyes started to droop as the humming of the engine put you to sleep.
