(A/N) ~ Hey! This is my first story, so feel free to leave constructive criticism!
The picture is of Ayaka!
-----------My feet hurt. It’s too crowded. Why am I even here? You wonder as your best friend, Ayaka, drags you into a store. She insisted on taking you shopping for some new clothes, saying that yours were “too bland”. Ayaka always pouts for days when you tell her no, so you just went along with her plans.
She pulls you over to a shirt rack, holding up a frilly gray blouse, “Oh, this is cute!”
“I don’t wear ruffles.” You state plainly, earning a side glance.
“You should get out of your comfort zone more. I think this would look good on you.”
“Nope.”
“Pleeease? Ok, if you try this on, I’ll…um…buy you some (favorite drink) before we leave. Deal?”
You roll your eyes and snatch the shirt from her, “Fine.”
You go to the dressing room and put on the shirt. Hideous. I hate it. You open the curtain and look around. Where did she go? You spot Ayaka holding up the ugliest cardigan you’ve ever seen. As you approach her, you notice the man standing behind her. He wasn’t here earlier, was he? He was hiding his face under a hood and it looked like his right arm was bigger than his left. What’s in his sleeve?
You can’t take your eyes off of him, even as Ayaka rambles on about how good the shirt looks on you. You glance at everyone else in the store. The young woman at the counter and a teenage boy over in the corner. Just as your eyes turn back to the man, he darts up to the cashier, revealing a support weapon.
A gun! Oh shit. What should I do?!
“Give me your money! All of you! Or I’ll shoot everyone in here!” He waves the firearm at us. Ayaka fumbles around her purse, causing the weapon to be pointed at her. You feel your breaths getting faster and your thoughts getting blurrier. What do I do? What do I do?
He steps closer, “Don’t be doing anything shady.”
She glanced up, “I’m not, I promise. I- I can’t find my wallet.”
“Well, you better find it. Now.” The weapon clicks.
No. No. No. No. “I am here!” All Might’s deep voice rang through the store. The thief spun around, but when the Symbol of Peace was nowhere to be found, he turned to each of you. Well shit. Your throat stings a little now, thanks to your quirk. He points the weapon at you.
“That was you, huh? Did you think I’d fall for that? Well, lemme tell you. You just sealed her fate.” He points the weapon at her again. It clicks.
“No! Ayaka!” Everything fades into slow motion as your legs carry you in between her and the firearm’s barrel. You close your eyes.
It fires.
