Chapter 12 It's Okay

" Jack!" I heard Rose yell " Ugh" I groaned as I woke up" I'm coming!" I yelled back trying to wake myself up. I ran to the front door " Where did you go and why didn't you wake me?" I noticed she had just walked inside " I wanted it to be a surprise but a few weeks ago I went to a doctor and I went today " she stopped leaving me hanging and handed me a envelope with a confrontation of something I didn't read it all the way a paper saying " You're a Daddy" " What?" I was confused, I was still waking up " Jack, I'm pregnant" Rose looked at me and smiled " What!" I was so excited I hugged her and started jumping " I'm going to be a Dad!" " Let me get my shoes!" I yelled, scrambling around trying to find them and put my shoes on and then my coat " For what?" She asked giggling " To go get a crib and everything else we need " " Jack I'm only a few weeks, we have 9 months" "I'd rather be prepared" " Jack I'm tired and just want to spend time with you, can that wait for a few days" she said walking up to me and put her hands on my chest" I suppose it can " I smiled and kissed her forehead and took my shoes and coat off and put them back and walked over to Rose " If we have a boy I want to name him Thomas " I mentioned and Rose smiled nodding" I'd like that, I'm sure Mr. Andrews would too" we both smiled and shared a kiss " Now I'm tired let's go to bed" I chuckled as she walked to the bedroom I picked her up from behind and lifted her in the air " Jack!" She started smacking my hands and laughing " Put me down!" She laughed panicking and I put her on the bed and kissed her " I love you" she whispered " I love you more" I muttered and we smiled and I cuddled up to her as she fell asleep to me playing with her hair and rubbing her back I moved my hand gently placing it on her stomach falling asleep thinking about mine and Roses future about our kids. I woke up to the sound of vomiting and I rolled over to our bathroom door open and Rose at the toilet " Rose!" I said hopping out of bed running to her and held her hair back " How did you hide this from me before?" "I went to the other bathroom " I nodded and left her finish up and I wiped her face for her " Are you hungry?" I asked her and she nodded" What for?" " French Toast " she said getting up walking to the kitchen" Do you want any " she asked " No go lay down or sit on the couch or something you are pregnant you don't need to cook for me I can clean and all that other shit you relax " I said getting up walking to her " Jack-" No I don't want to hear Jack I can do it or anything else Rose, I can do it okay you go relax" she sighed knowing she'd lose this battle and she went to go sit on the couch, I sighed as I flushed the toilet and went to the kitchen making her breakfast and mine we sat on the couch together and talked about the baby" When are we telling Ellie?" I asked " Umm I don't know maybe tomorrow we can hint at it" she said and she got up " Rose?" She held her hand over her mouth and ran to the bathroom I ran after her " Please say it wasn't my cooking " I joked as I rubbed her back and held her hair back she vomited "Maybe your child doesn't like your cooking " she said " What but my cooking is delicious " she kept barfing" Tell that to your child " I signed I didn't like seeing Rose go through this again last time was worse because we had a miscarriage.

(1 Month Later)

" Hey, do you want me to drop you off at Ellie's while I go to work?" I asked walking over to Rose on the couch and kissed the top of her head " I mean we didn't tell her yet it's getting a little more obvious Jack" " Okay so we can try to drop hints when we're there okay" " I don't want you to be late to work" I sighed shaking my head " Rose I'm my own boss ' she just nodded " Okay I guess we can do that" she put her drink on the coffee table" Isn't it weird we convinced our child on our couch and we don't tell anybody?" She hit my arm " Oww" I rubbed my arm " Jack I cleaned it multiple times it's fine" I chuckled I love making her question why she's with me it makes her look so adorable" You need help with anything baby " I asked walking over to her she looked around thinking for a minute" No I'm fine" she said and grabbed her shoes and put them on we grabbed our coats and walked outside to the car I offered her my hand to climb in she got in and flicked my forehead " Oww " I wined rubbing my forehead " You are such a dork" she laughed at me I smiled and rolled my eyes as I got in the driver seat I started the car and I put my hand on her stomach rubbing her stomach gently " Jack I want twins" I looked at her " I'll be happy whether it's a boy,girl, twins, triplets, quadruplets" I paused looking like I was making sure nobody was around just to make her laugh" but I'm rooting for a girl " I whispered into Roses ear covering my mouth with my hand and she pushing me away " Just start driving you dork" she said I smiled while she giggled a little bit and I started the car and kept my eyes on the road occasionally looking at how beautiful she is " Jack " " Yes my love" I asked her and made eye contact for a few seconds before turning my attention to the road " If knew everything that was going to happen on Titanic and knowing it'll sink when you won you tickets would you still board knowing you would die?" I turned around and saw a car swerving on the road heading right us knowing it'll hit us I unbuckled and threw myself in front of Rose hugging her as I took all of the impact and the car flipping as I wasn't wearing a seatbelt I ended up across the street with a wheel on me I remember seeing Rose laying on her side panicking trying to get out but the seatbelt was locked " Jack!" I heard her cries I wanted to run over and get her out but I couldn't move next thing I knew I passed out

Rose's POV

" Jack! Jack!" I yelled trying to unbuckle but it was locked " Jack!" I cried as I saw him passed out on the ground losing blood when someone ran up to me " Ma'am stop struggling I'm here to help" " Don't help me help him!" I went to look at Jack and saw the woman was Ellie" Ellie help Jack!" I begged her " I'm getting you out first I called an ambulance" she said as a man ran over " Here use my knife to cut the belt" " Sir please help my husband" I didn't care if me and him weren't married yet he's my husband " the man nodded and ran over to Jack there wasn't much he could do expect lift the wheel off of him " Ellie this is all my fault I had to come to your house I couldn't just stay home I couldn't just keep my mouth shut in the car I had to ask him questions" I broke down when Ellie finally got me free as she helped me up " It's not your fault it's his" she said pointing to the man who was driving the car he had blood from his forehead " Why does he always have to protect me!"
