Present Day

Daegon

My name is Daegon Jordan Hart. Along with my twin brother, Daemon James Hart, we are getting ready to start our Pokemon journey. Yesterday was our Eighteenth birthday. The age in which we can get our Trainer ID. When we were younger, about six, our father had given Daemon and I our first Pokemon. Where we live it is surrounded by several different islands. We live on the center island known as Eevee's Island. It is custom for the trainers who live here to receive an Eevee for their first Pokemon. Most are like Daemon and I, receive an Eevee at a young age. I haven't seen my brother in six years . Our mother, Diana Jane Hart, had sent us to be mentored by the two former Champions, Dakota Jurado and Dylan Strife. For six years I was taught many things that I know I will carry for the rest of my life. My bond with my partner is a strong one. Unbroken for ten years and many more years to come.

One day during my Eighth birthday, my father went to uncover a mystery involving a group who called themselves the Society of Darkness. You see, my father worked as an undercover agent. He had always gone on missions for long periods of time, but never this long. From what I hear, he's okay, but somewhere in my heart, I know something is wrong. He'd never go this long without telling anyone. My mother and brother took it the worst. Daemon is one of those people who wear his feelings and emotions on his sleeve. I on the other hand have always kept my emotions hidden away. "If you let your feelings get in the way, you can't keep going with your job" As my father always said to me as a child.

"Daegon! Wake up." Said a man's voice.

"Hmm?" I mumbled under my breath.

"We're here at Eevee Island" the voice had said once again.

With quick recognition, I realized who's voice it was. That voice belonged to my mentor, Dakota. He had won and became champion twenty years ago. Though he may look old. He was only in his late 30s, with short black/white hair, piercing blue eyes. that were so cold. If I did something wrong, it felt like I would freeze on the spot with his icy stare. He wore a big long trench coat that went all the way to his feet.Underneath he had on a long white dress shirt that was buttoned up with black slacks. Always a man of fashion.

"Hold on Dakota. I'll be ready in just a few minutes." I responded back.

"You're Eighteen. You're not a child anymore Daegon, it's time you started acting like it," Dakota had replied back.

"I know. You've been telling me this for the last few years. I understand being ready and on time," I say. As I tugged on a pair of my favorite black jeans.

"Well, it's an important lesson that I had hoped you would pick up." my mentor said in a stern voice.

I put on my red and black gloves. A trench coat that is black with a red trimming and that's open. Unlike my mentor, revealing my red shirt. Next, I put a belt on that has a single Pokeball. As I put on my backpack, I realize I'm finally here. With a giant grin, I open the door to meet Dakota knowing I finally have returned home.

"Took you long enough," Dakota says with a smile.

"Well let's get going, the Ceremony will begin later tonight. But first let's get something to eat. I'm starving," I say.

Diana

I'M STRUGGLING, SHOULD I TELL THE BOYS THEIR FATHER IS IN DANGER, I'M TORN SHOULD I TELL THEM KNOWING THAT DANIEL WOULDN'T WANT THEM TO CHASE HIM BUT I'M AFRAID. I'LL DISCUSS IT WITH MASTER DAKOTA AND MASTER DYLAN MAYBE THEY WILL HAVE AN IDEA ON WHAT I SHOULD DO.
