THEY WATCHED AS THEIR own boss practically dropped his handcuffs on the floor, almost like they were never on him to begin with. "wasn't so hard, was it little birdie?" the man laughed as he kicked the handcuffs that had fallen to the side, he ruffled y/ns hair as he walked away before pausing.

"by the way I'll be out for a bit, I'm taking over noirs mission. that sneaky snake ended up getting hurt, sbi [sleepy bitches inc] is having a hard time with one of their members down." he looked back at his sidekick before walking off.

"y/n! code red, severe code red. go to the jhellbent district flowerfield. Immediately!" a panicked voice spoke in their earpiece screaming at them, meaning their boss's mission has gone wrong.

as y/n made their way to the district they were trembling thinking about what could have gone wrong, they didn't want to exactly see their bosses dead body.

they paused, y/n looked around noticing how silent it went, when previously you could at least hear the wind. something was wrong and severely wrong.

y/n dodged in a mere split seconds their own body moving on its own, they were breathing heavily as their life was almost gone. "holy..shit.." they looked at the blood red spike that almost went into their neck.

"y'know it's been a while since someone actually dodged that, I'm impressed but a little mad. I wasted perfectly good blood on that, although it wasn't mine, so I guess I can't be to mad." a tall lady appeared in front of y/n.

not just any fucking tall ass lady it just so happened to be the second, top supervillain in jhellbent. y/n was fucked they already knew that, y/n didn't have a power that could keep up.

"..where is my boss?" y/n stood their ground backing away slightly as they made sure to get ready, although they knew they couldn't stand a fight, maybe they could try?

"that hero that I just ordered unethical to take? his fine, until his blood gets dissected." she shrugged her shoulders as if it wasn't a big deal, although she didn't care. it was obvious enough.

"unethical? you mean.." y/n came to a realization that they might not win in reality, even if on some luck they defeated the number two villain..the number three was still a problem.

"you know it's such a shame really, you're quite..decent for a hero, but my job comes first." she sighed dramatically as she tapped her head, honestly this would be a good time to run.

and y/n did just that they turned quickly away as they jumped onto a building, the villain was far behind as she followed the chase. it was a game of cat and mouse.

the mouse just so happens to be the one not winning, y/n took a sharp turn as their path was filled with blood, in a second that blood burst into flames. "you can run but, you can't hide~!" she shouted as she laughed from behind.

y/n jumped onto another building as they tried to think on what to exactly do in this situation, 'if I could maybe just use my power..but what if I mess up?' y/n thought nervously.

y/n was slowly losing energy and the villain wasn't exactly stopping anytime soon, she was full of energy while y/n was basically coughing their lungs out.

"fuck it...!" y/n whispered although it came off as a slight shout in their opinion, they turned to face the villain. but they saw literally no one at all, it was empty.

"wha-" y/n was cut off as they were roughly and definitely not nicely at all, shoved on the concrete hard rooftop. y/ns head making a slight crack.

y/n was seeing stars as the villain was digging her knee slightly into y/ns neck, just enough to make them feel weak without them dying. although the head injury was a bit different.

"such a pretty face as well, y'know maybe rules aren't easy to follow..?" she laughed as she was pulling at y/ns hair, y/n was practically groaning in pain as they glared up at her.

"mellow ally, what's exactly happening?" unethical spoke as they fucking appeared out of thin air, mellow didn't seem phased as she simply ignored unethical.

"dude can we get going, I heard paintbrush is on its way here, his a real troublemaker. still got paint in my hair.." unethical practically yelled as if they were scolding a child, which was incredibly funny.

"is it wrong to adopt a human like a dog?" mellow asked as if it was such an innocent and simple question, her eyes were staring at unethical. unethical audibly sighed dramatically.

"look as much as I would-" unethical couldn't finish their own sentence as suddenly a burst of colorful paint hit them, sending them flying back into a wall, which probably hurt.

"y/n you look pretty hurt!" paintbrush had a big oblivious smile on his face as he raised his brush in the air, and swiftly drew a burst of water as it hit mellow off of y/n.

y/n sat up rubbing their head as they felt warm blood dripping down the back of their head, they had a massive pounding headache as they groaned.

"paintbrush, didn't expect to see you here..!" mellow had a wicked smile on her face as she looked at the hero, paintbrush was sitting on top of a cloud that it drew. and y/n was also sitting next to him.

"mellow great to see you, along with you as well unethical." although paintbrush had a relatively calm and happy look while speaking to mellow, somehow that look turned cold when speaking to unethical.

"quit chatting already, and FIGHT" unethical shouted as they brought out their metal whip aiming it out paintbrush, while unethical had a annoyed look.

mellow tossed some blood spikes at paintbrush as in midair they bursted up into flames, mellow laughed as she did that.

paintbrush was surprised as it barely had time to protect himself and y/n from the damage, they shoved y/n off protecting them from getting hurt.

paintbrush was thrown roughly on the sidewalk as blood was dripping down their back, y/n fell next to paintbrush with only a few bruises from the fall. (not counting their before injuries.)

mellow jumped down swiftly and confidently as unethical followed behind. "heroes nowadays are pathetic." she laughed as she grabbed another one of her blood spikes, and unethical gripped their whip.

before they could even attack paintbrush painted a colorful forcefield coughing as he stood up, mellow and unethical were trapped as they yelled to get out.

"till next time, villains." paintbrush said as he summoned a cloud grabbing the now unconscious y/n and leaving.
