"Have you finished packing?"

You ask as jungkook who was checking his belongings once again turned around to look at you only to give you a look of surprise.

"Oh. . . What's all that?"

He asks pointing his finger towards you as you are holding a couple of things in your arms.

You look down at those things before looking up at him as you walk towards him before placing them on the bed he was sitting on.

"Well these are some things you need to take with yourself,"

You say as jungkook looks down at them before looking at you waiting for an explanation from you.

You pick one of the things from the small pile you brought with yourself as jungkook looks at you instantly identifying the object you held.

"That is your mug,"

He says looking at the mug you were holding and it indeed was yours. You nod your head in a yes before you start speaking as jungkook looks at the mug confused.

"Yes, it is and you are going to take this with you."

You say as you pause for a while before continuing again.
"So that whenever you will have coffee in this mug you'll feel as if i am right next to you and you are having coffee with me."

You explain and jungkook's eyes instantly soften he looks at you with a look of understanding.

"And I'll have coffee from your mug so that I'll feel the same. Hence, you ought to take this with you."

You say as you place the mug next to his zipped up bag before proceeding to pick up the next item.

Jungkook just nods with no objection internally wondering how much you were thinking and trying to make the distance less difficult for the two of you.

He was always left amazed because of your ideas since those were things he couldn't even think of.

But now he imagined himself at the base drinking warm water or coffee from it-and, he wouldn't feel as lonely as he felt usually. Instead, he might just start picturing you with him and that thought somehow made the distance less torturous.

"And next up here we have a diary."

You say showing him a new diary that was a pretty shade of beige in colour.

Jungkook looks at the diary before looking into your eyes as you speak.

"In this diary you can write about your entire day, everything you did as if you were talking with me and I'll do the same.

I'll write about my entire day, every single day in that diary. That way we will feel as if we are still next to each other.

You can write in it about things you couldn't say to me because you'll be busy at the base so it's normal that we might not get much time to stay in touch. And I'll also have my university so I might be busy too at times! But that's okay just assume that this pretty diary is me, alright?"

You say as you hand the diary to him he takes the diary from you running his hand over its cover as he looks up at you.

Your actions have left him feeling touched as he smiles at you admiring you silently.

You pick up the next item with much visible hesitation and hence jungkook decides to shift his entire attention to you.

He looks at you before looking at the item you held this time, you clear your throat before speaking a little awkwardly.
