The Skies Of Coruscant

As one of the last strongholds remaining in the slipping grasp of the galactic empire, Coruscant is packed to the brim with organic and inorganic life. The capital of the galaxy is now one of the last shining beacon of hope left for the races inhabiting the galaxy.

It was supposedly safe, the surface being littered with thousands of defensive turrets, and the underground being a natural bunker, the reapers supposedly incapable of reaching into its depths. 

That, coupled with the orbital shield leaves the galactic capital as a safe refuge, allowing the empire to go for an all out attack. That's what the foolish organics believed.

Now leading his task force the reaper capital  "Shadow" leads his force to the heart of the galactic community, the citadel of this galaxy. The emperor was foolish enough to believe that they would face him in a direct confrontation, now the trillions of souls here  would be harvested for their cause.

(0 minutes after invasion)

From the shadow of the planet they entered Coruscant's orbit, defending with the task force of 6 Sovereign class assisted by 20 smaller destroyers. "Shadow" himself bearing a special weapon, made to crack open planetary shields.

The moment they entered orbit the stationed Goland Orbital opened, managing a few barrages in before the reapers returned in full fervor. Their beams lighting up the skies of the planet, beams cutting through the center of the stations. Jets of Turbolasers beams shearing right through the armor and into their reactors. The entire defense station lightning up into a ball of destruction, a small star being born everytime one is destroyed.

In within a few shots all of the stations were obliterated. The large objects breaking through their gravitational anchor and falling onto the moons and planets below. The ones near the moon becoming meteors striking the surface of it and destroying most of the surface. Meanwhile the other ones would fall onto the shield, falling down and cracking open.

Now that there are no oppositions the reapers can now deploy "The Scythe". A  new weapon made from kyber crystals, a material found to be quite useful after analyzing the death star's wreckage which now lay on a nearby ocean moon to Endor. The reapers have made use of it, such a powerful and yet somewhat sentient material will have to be harvested.

With the planetary shield  in the way the guns on coruscant could do nothing but wait while Shadow charges up his beam, a dazzling display of light shining above the city while the escorts move about, the destroyers already heading to harvest coruscant's moons.

Screams were silenced quickly, trumped by the sound of the reaper's horn. The blasts of tanks and storm troopers clanking uselessly against the shields and armor of the destroyers.  Within hours all of the fortresses and strongholds littered across the planet was destroyed, broken into by jets of turbolasers beams. Swarms of husks were then released, the overwhelming forces of bodies from the other planets that have fallen before flooded the levels of the moon, harvesting all that is in their wave of destruction.

The entirety of the moon falling to the Reapers soon after their arrival, the entire fleet of the empire already being occupied with their final decisive battle.

"The scythe" Is in operation above the planet the super cannon armed and ready for the cracking of the planet's shield.  The energy stored at the tip of the spinal weapon radiating with the energy of many stars. 

Utilizing Kyber crystals mined from Illum, along with those that the reapers have begun artificially growing. The deadly weapon illuminated with a sickly green beam, reminiscent of the death star's glow. A single blast  is more than enough to glass the entire top layer of coruscant, breaking through the shield and destroying all of the ground based defense cannons

However, the reapers have a different plan, the "Scythe" is nothing but a back up plan.

Everywhere across Coruscant's surface, all at once, the stormtroopers scattered across the planet were ambushed. As if a quarter of the population turned on them. In within minutes the relatively untouched surface of the galactic capital descended into an active war zone.

Bolts of laser flew across the city, killing hundreds as indoctrinated rebel and civilian forces alike attacked the remaining storm trooper regiments left to guard the planet. Hijacked civilian vehicles crashing into the legs of At-Sts while large transports and cargo ships collided with At-Ats. 

The imperial armed forces were caught off guard, all of their guns being aimed towards the sky rather than the civilians like usual. It making them especially vulnerable to this internal strife of the ambush. Their forces being scattered and weak.

Power stations owned by Civilian companies explode in glorious fashion, creating large explosions and blackouts across the ecumenopolis. One after another the buildings began blacking out, he night side of the planet becoming dark hell scape. Only illuminated by the blazing streets and the constant gunfire.

This was the reapers plan for the rebel alliance, their indoctrinated ground forces infiltrating the galactic capital, carrying with them reaper artifacts which they use to spread the influence of indoctrination.

The fight lasted hours as chaos reigned across the planet. Slowly stations after stations of shield generators were shut down. The mighty planetary shield beginning to flicker in and out of existence while the turbolasers battery turns on the planet, blasting through the garrison of imperial soldiers.
