I woke up to the shrill sound of my mother's voice, annoyingly shouting out my name. I rolled onto my back searching for my phone to check the time and to my utter disgrace it was nine in the morning. Who the hell tries to wake you up this early on a weekend?

I heard my name one more time as I groaned and put all my strength and will to get up from the bed and went downstairs.

"Whaat?!" I spatted in annoyance as I walked down the stairs, messily taking my nest hair in a bun.

"Darling, have you seen my diamond earrings? I can't just find it anywhere."

"No I haven't seen it. Why do you need it right now? Wait.. Where are you going?"

"I haven't told you? My old friend, Ms. Labowski, is having a geet together with our entire college friends."

"Boring."

"Ray." Mother spoke sternly.

I shoot my hands in the air, "Fine! Whatever that is, mom, have fun."

"Thanks, dear. I'll be leaving soon and don't be back till tomorrow afternoon. So make sure you and Ryan stay safe."

"Can't keep any promises that I won't try to attempt on killing you daughter." Ryan made this dramatic appearance.

Rolling my eyes at him, "you mean I won't try to kill you, litol boy?"

"In your dreams, baby face." Ryan spoke to me while he opened the upper shelf to get this cereals.

"I Don't have a baby face!"

"Yes you do."

"Stop you two!" We looked at mom who was trying to hide a smile to form on her face. "Just stay safe."

"Well I don't know about the evil daughter you have, but I'm having a night over at Drake's house." Ryan spoke while grabbing a handful of lucky charms on his spoon.

"Stop referring her as my daughter. She's your sister, too, Ryan." Mom spoke while she stuffed her bag with all the essentials, which are, mostly make up products.
