Amelia's life was forged to be extraordinary. She had everything she could possibly ask for and more. She wanted a pony for her 5th birthday? Done. New car for her 16th birthday? Done. She was doted on. Until she turned 18. She was on her own after that. She was supposed to focus on her studies to become a doctor. A cardiovascular surgeon to be exact.
When her parents sent her away to college, surprise! She had a sister. One who she would visit as often as she could. It seemed like she was the one raising her at times. But she adored her little sister. They were all they had with their crazy parents.
Over time, her parents lightened up and she had her sister to thank for that. So with her 34th birthday coming up she decided to take her little sister with her on a trip to Jamaica. Where they unwinded.. one from High School and one from her regular job where she wanted to get away from her soon-to-be fiancé.
Funny how taking a later flight would ruin everything. Deciding wanting a little more time to themselves may have just been the worst or best thing to happen to Amelia. 5 ½ years later her whole world got flipped upside down.
She'll never know if she regretted taking flight 828 damming her and her sister but maybe she liked everything that happened in between.
