He entered the room, and the soft glow of the moon illuminated the space. His wife, Pari, was sitting by the window, gazing at the moon calmly.

"Why didn't you ever tell me you saved me?" she asked, her voice quiet and reflective. "I always thought you were the worst man."

Anand walked toward her, his eyes softening. "My love, I never wanted you to think I did it out of sympathy. The first time I saw you, I decided you would be our Sia's mother and my pretty wife."

Pari's eyes shimmered with emotion. "Anand, it hurts here," she said, gently placing her hand over her heart. "Am I not supposed to be loved? Am I really that bad?"

She laid her head on his chest, her voice fragile.

"Shh, you are meant to be loved by me and our Sia, my baby. We both love you to the moon and back. I promise, you will never feel hurt as long as I am alive. You are my soul, and I can't live without you," Anand whispered softly.

His words were like sweet medicine to her wounded heart. She looked up into his eyes, cupped his face gently, and leaned in, pressing her lips against his. The kiss was slow, tender, yet filled with passion. When they broke apart, their gazes locked, both feeling the deep connection between them.

"You taste like a rose," Anand whispered in a husky tone, his breath warm against her ear. Pari blushed, her heart fluttering as she closed her eyes in response.

Anand smiled and teasingly said, "My baby is hungry, and I need to feed her."

Pari laughed softly, trying to pull away, but he tugged her closer by the waist and whispered, "Her father is also hungry. Feed me too, Mommy."

"Shameless," she teased, lightly hitting his chest before running away from him.

He placed his hand over his heart and chuckled. "Only for you, shameless, my sexy wife."

Anand's POV

Love can happen in the most unexpected places. Pari is the best thing that ever happened to me. Her innocence, her purity—it's made me crazy, and I don't know what will happen when she screams my name. I'll die with pleasure, knowing she's mine.

A few years later, they were blessed with a baby boy, and their little family lived in happiness, filled with love and laughter.
