"Oh shit!" My voice raises as i check my phone.
I hadn't been on my phone in ages so there was a few messages i hadn't responded too.
Even the ones including my mum.
"What's up?" Rafe sits placing his hand on my thigh
I read the messages i'd only just realised my mum sent. My heart dropped.
"My mums coming, Fuck! She'll take me back if she finds out about my dad." I say
"What? Why she coming back?"
"My dad hasn't picked up the phone in weeks and i hadn't answered her either. She gets worried easily, especially because of what happened last time"
"Shit" he mumbles. He knows that if my mum comes there's a big chance he won't see me again, and i'd most likely leave forever this time.
"It's ok maybe she hasn't left yet, the message wasn't sent that long ago" i say putting my phone to my ear so i can call her
"Mum?" i say as she picks up the phone
"Y/n! Why haven't you been answering?! I was worried sick"
"i'm sorry i've been busy"
"And what about your dad? Is he taking care of you?"
"yep everything's fine, i mostly stay at the cameron's anyways"
"Oh thank god"
"your uhm your not coming are you?"
"Well i was about too if you wasn't gonna answer my final call"

We finish the call and i look at Rafe in relief.
"That was way to close"
"You know your gonna have to leave at some point y/n, and when you do we won't be able to see each other again"
"I know, i'll figure something out"
He leans forward kissing me for a moment
"I love you" He whispers with a little grin on his face
"I love you too"
"How many weeks till summer breaks over?" i ask
"probably like four"

"i have to go somewhere y/n, i'll be back later" I hear Rafe shout from outside the door
"Okay!"
I sit on his bed scrolling through my phone, he's been going out a lot recently, i assumed he's gone to Barry's again since i don't know where else he'd go.

"Y/n" i hear Sarah's voice call from outside the door.
Fuck. That's all i need.
"Go away Sarah"
"Look i'm sorry, i don't want to fight over Rafe." She says opening the door
"Ok well stop accusing him of shit"
"ill stop, i just want to be friends again"
"Ok ok come sit with me then"
"Where's Rafe?"
"Don't know he's out somewhere"

Sarah left after a few hours as it was getting late.
I picked up my phone sending messages to Rafe, he still wasn't back and he wasn't answering either.
I didn't know what else to do except go to sleep and hopefully wake up with his arms around my waist kissing me good morning.

Well that definitely did not happen.
It's literally ten in the morning and he's still not here.
I got dressed and left the room, that's when i heard familiar yelling coming from the downstairs. It had to be Rafe.
I quickly walk down after hearing something smash, but i was too late the front door slammed and there was no one except Ward cleaning up the smashed glass on the floor.
"Where's Rafe?" i stand at the bottom of the stairs watching Ward.
"I kicked him out."
"What why?"
"Because he's a liar and a thief. He needs to get his shit together before he steps back in this house. I suggest you leave him and find someone else, you can do better than him y/n" Ward looks up clearly mad about whatever just happened.
I run over to my shoes sliding them on so i could go look for Rafe.
I walk out seeing his car had gone, shit.
"Do you know where he'd be?" I walk back over to Ward
"Probably with that Barry getting high again"
I nod beginning to head over to Barry's. I still remembered where his place was from the last time i was there. It's not too far.

I get to Barry's house knocking on the door.
"Can i help you?" He answers inhaling a cigarette
"Yeah is Rafe here?"
"Ohhh your y/n" He laughs "Yo country club your girls here"
"He did pretty good to get a pretty girl like you" He says looking me up and down while i wait for Rafe to come
"Bro what's taking so long?!" Barry yells
"Is he ok?"
"Hell no" Barry's laughs "He's been crying about his daddy since he got here, He even started raiding through all my stuff like it's some fucking zoo"
"Oh god"
"Fuck, just go find him, he's probably coked out somewhere" He says letting me in
I walk over to one of the rooms seeing Rafe crashed out on the couch.
"Rafe" i nudge his shoulder so he'd wake up
"Mhn" He opens his eyes slightly "Y/n?"
He sits up and i hug him. His eyes were still red and wet from when he was crying, i felt so bad.
"Ward told me he kicked you out, what's going on?"
"I stole money from my dad, lied, threatened rose and other shit he blames me for"
"Threatened Rose with what?"
"A knife"
"Seriously Rafe? Why are you only just telling about this?!"
"I don't want you involved in my shit, i'd never forgive myself if something happened to you."
"Rafe if you have stuff going on i want you to be able to talk to me about it, i care about you, so much."
"Bullshit no one cares"
"If i didn't care i wouldn't be here"
I watched his eyes begin to water.
He cleared his throat and stood up facing the other way.
"Go y/n" His voice breaks
He was crying and i'm pretty sure he didn't want me to see him like this.
I think the coke was also having an effect on his emotions. And the fact his dad kicked him out.
I know how much he loves him.
He just wants to make his dad proud and feel loved.
"Rafe" i lower my voice almost into a whisper
He didn't answer he just stood wiping the tears off his face.
"I love you ok? We'll sort it out i promise.
I just need you to get clean right now, will you do that?" I try calming him
He nodded and looked up from the floor to face me "yeah"
I smiled and pulled him towards me for a hug.
"I love you so much" He whispers down near my ear
