The large gate stood glooming over the small boy. The cold-hushed wind chilled his pale skin. Why was he here? Here in the old school that had been eaten by the woods. The rumours about this place were weighing on his shoulders. As he climbs the brick walls, he remembers the reason why he was there. The bullies at his school had put his bag beyond the gates, he remembered the way they laughed as the bag flew over the brick walls, the names that hit like an arrows.
The boy couldn't help but to laugh at himself, he giggled softly as he looked down into the depths of the pond. The moonlight glittered off the water, the boy look in to the deep mush only to see the black mess he called hair. The clouds seem to darken as the time passed. It was only a little while till the rain would fall; the importance of finding a place to hide from the rain came more seemly, and then the boy would find his path home. He clutched his newly found bag tightly and headed towards the old building.
The hall echoed as the drops of water tapped on the floor from the many leaks in the roof. The rain only came down heavier as the day grew older. Cracks flooded the walls and the once inspired wallpaper gloomed over with emptiness. As the boy continues to walk on, finding his way through the labyrinth of halls which seemingly only wanted to trap the hopeless ones. The painful past whipped around the boy head as the darkness crept ever closer. Wrapped in the wonder and blinded in darkness, to gaze upon the light only a star can rival.
