I was a 7 year old walking home from school in a small village I lived in. You were walking with my friend, genya shinazugawa. My his older brother and I never got along great, but I didn't really care, and my older brother giyuu would walk with us so we wouldn't get hurt, aka genya, and me. I was wearing my f/c kimono when me and giyuu dropped genya off at his house sanemi kept looking at me I didn't really care he does that a lot so It was normal but as soon as me and giyuu walked away and came into our house our sister Tsutako Tomioka she was making dinner when we heard her call we went to go downstairs when all the sudden she grabs me and giyuu putting us in the closet but we were upstairs so who was down stairs next thing we know she said "I heard it too" she walked out the closet and said she is gonna see what it is. Within the next five minutes, we heard her scream, and then it went silent, and something came upstairs it was a demon giyuu put his hand over my mouth so I would not scream as day hit the demon left
We tried to tell people, but no one would believe us so it was only me and giyuu soon left to become a demon slayer when I was eight he left for training he didn't bring me with since it would be to dangerous so I was stuck with a different family I had gotten adopted
