CHAPTER 4: THE GROVE SAGE ACADEMY CASE (SAVE)

Willow's Pov

After I sent Faith home, I went to mine. I found mom with not a found with not a fond expression. "Willow Scarlet Smith! What happened to your aunt's house!? Where is your uncle, Scarlet!?," She hissed. I lowered my head and tried to stop my tears to come out.

"You are lying, aren't you? You're lying... My brother is not dead ....," Mom cried.

"Mom, I promised I'll find uncle's body and give justice to his death," I said and hug her. "You told me before, don't let your emotions get through to you because it will mess up your mind and you won't be able to think straight. That's what I'm going to do now," she look at me surprised. "Mom, no matter what happens. Please, stay strong for me,"

Mom keep crying until she fell asleep. I put her on the couch and covered her before going to my room. I lay on my bed and look at the ceiling.

I need to set up my plan to catch them. I'm starting at you Reaper. You're the real danger in my classmates' life and my life.

I went through the message of Reaper and Lady Griffin to me. In my analysis, Lady Griffin seems concerned with me and tries to warn me about Reaper once. It's like he doesn't want me to get hurt and Reaper was the one who wants to hurts me. I can use this in my plan.

Now I need to know what is their position in this matter. Reaper is the one to kill but what about Lady Griffin what is his position on this? He knows what happened and Reaper's plan. He also managed to convince him not to hurt me.

Wait a minute, no one can enter our school without logging into the log book. But if I'm the killer and I don't want to get caught, I won't go to the main gate to log my name. Where can I enter without being caught by the security?

THE STUDENT ESCAPE ROUTE! There are two escape routes in our school, one in the playground and the other is in the study hall where the walls can be easily climbed. If I chose between those two paths, the path in the playground is the easiest way since no one's guarding there.

If that's the case, then that means Lady Griffin is one of the students or staff of our school. But even though, shouldn't the security knows about the killings even if they are not aware of it they can see it through the CCTV foota– that's it! Lady Griffin is a hacker. The reason the security didn't notice anything wrong is because Lady Griffin already handle it.

About the students falling asleep at the same time is explainable. They use sleeping gas to make them fall asleep. There should be a main source of those sleeping gas that is connected to the rooms, I need to find that. But what about the time of killing, I don't know when he's going to kill someone.

I think deeply about the possible time he can kill someone but nothing came to my mind. I raised my hands trying to do the aiming when holding a gun. My focus went to my watch and I immediately sat up.

I remember I was looking at the watch when the first killing happens and I got a glimpse of the wall clock in my uncle's that time too. Reaper starting to kill someone at 11:23 am. If I'm correct someone will die at the exact time tomorrow, I need to stop him.

I skip my morning classes and start to go to school. I felt someone following me and I secretly look at the glass window. I saw a black car following me, I smirk when a plan came to my mind.

When I reach the school, the guards asked me why I am only entering right now. Of course, I lied. I told them that I was not feeling this morning that's why I'm only attending my classes now.

I saw that those guys are logging into the log book and I hide in the shadow when they are not paying attention. After they finished logging in they are trying to find me. I saw that they are close to me saw I pulled the first person comes to my view and pulled her to the classroom full of students and the teacher is there. They look at us confusedly, I saw the time it's almost 11:23. I look at Captain Li who I pulled earlier, and put a handkerchief on her nose and mouth. When her accompanies saw this they were about to talk but I talk first.

"Cover your nose now," I said. They look at me confusedly but when they look around they saw the students starting to fall asleep so they cover their noses.

I was holding my breath to not breathe the sleeping gas and I'm losing it. Captain Li seems to notice it and put her handkerchief on my nose and mouth. I immediately held her handkerchief and breathe into it.

I look at the time again and it was 11:22 already. Seeing the time I immediately run to my classroom, I look at my back and see they are still following me. I saw the corner of my classroom and look at them again. "Stop right there right now, he might see you," I said to them.

Captain Li was the first one to stop and her team stop too. I turned to the corner and I see Reaper aiming at Zander. I ran faster and before the bullet hits Zander we already fell to the ground.

I look at Zander and something's wrong with him. He look like he wasn't in his sense. I shake him up to gain his sense but he didn't.  "Zander wake up!" I got pissed that his senses are not coming back so I slap him and it work. He regains his senses.

"Scarlet? What happened? Why did you slap me?" He asked.

"You almost die you idiot!!," I yelled.

"SCAR!!! ZANDER!!!" our classmates yelled. They are looking at us shocked.

"F**k! What the hell is really happening?! First, we lost 5 of our classmates and now we almost lost Zander!," Darius yelled.

I calm myself and stand up. "Everyone, get inside. I need to tell you something," I said.

They went inside the room and sit down. "First of all, Zander, what did you do that you lost your senses earlier?" He looks at me cautiously before answering.

"I was vaping," he answered.

"Vaping? That's not allowed in our school. No no no, that doesn't matter. Just give me the vape," I order.

"W-what? Why did you need it?" He asked.

"Your vape must contain dangerous chemicals that can cause you to lose your senses. So give it to me before something else happens,"

They look at each other before giving it to me. I put it inside my pocket and start to tell them my plan. "I- I might have a plan to stop the killing," I started.

"Plan? What plan?" Evangeline asked.

"I'm going to bait myself,"
