CHAPTER 6: THE GROVE SAGE ACADEMY CASE (AWAKEN)

We've been walking–I mean he's been walking for more than 30 minutes and we still didn't reach our destination. Time passes and we managed to reach the place. The smell of this place almost makes me throw up. It smells rotten.

I felt being laid down on a hard surface. The disgusting smell here was stronger. It's like I was placed next to it.

"My dear child, I manage to avenge your death. Look, the b***h that killed you along with her friends are here. Dead like you," I got shocked by what I heard. I knew it! I was laying next to a dead body. Not only a dead body but a rotten body. F**k! I want to throw up.

"I just don't get it. I already killed them 10 years ago but how did they manage to come back to life after I killed them? But no worries my daughter, no matter how many times they come back to life I'll keep killing them," he thought I was the one who killed his daughter that's why he did this?

"What all they did to you, I'll do it to them too. They beat you, I'll beat them too. They rape you, I'll rape them too. They killed you, I'll kill them too. But too bad, I can't beat them since I already killed them,"

Upon hearing this, cold runs through my bones. While he's busy talking to her dead daughter I slowly move to escape. I read from a book that a person's mind becomes separated from the world if his mind is too focused on certain things.

I took this opportunity to run but I failed. He noticed me. "You're still alive?!!!,"

I quickly roll to the side and fell to the ground. I was going to run but he grab my hair and pulled me. I remembered the basic self-defense my uncle taught me, so I held his hand by both of my hands and turn around to face him before kicking his shin.

He groans in pain causing him to let me go. I pushed him away and start to run but he recover fast and grab me by my shoulders. He throws me to the side causing my head to hit on something hard and lose consciousness.

Andrew's Pov

I've been following the killer and heard everything he said. I saw Scar moving slowly and that guy notice her. They began to fight, I want to help her but she said not to do anything if the others is still not there. I saw that Scar was being thrown and her head was hit on the stone table. The killer began to unbuckle his belt and that's it. I don't care what the plan is, Scar is going to get raped.

I was going to help her when someone stop me. I look back and saw Zander and Darius with the police.

"Let us handle this," the female police said and point the gun to the killer. "Stop right there!" The man stop what was he doing and look at us, shock. "Put your hands up,"

"Why? WHY THE F**K DO YOU ALWAYS PROTECT THESE CRIMINALS!!!! THEY KILLED MY DAUGHTER!!!," He shouted.

"They didn't kill your daughter!!!! You already killed them!! You mistook them as your daughter's killers!!" I counter. I can feel them looking at me. "You said it, you killed them already and you are confused why are they still alive. It's because you mistook them for your daughter's murderers!!! You already killed them 10 years ago and 10 years ago we were still grade schoolers so how can we kill your daughter!!,"

"Shut the f**k up!!!! You're lying!!!,"

"PUT YOUR HANDS UP!!!," The female police shouted, still pointing the gun at the man.

The man raise his gun and pointed to Scar. "Lower your gun or I'll kill her,"

After he said it the air become tense as we got worried about the safety of Scar.

"You have no bullets left,"

Willow's Pov

I slowly woke up due to continuous shouting. I saw the man pointing his gun at me and I felt the air was tense. I immediately know why. I should have told them this information, I'm such an idiot.

"You have no bullets left," I said. They suddenly look at me confused except for one who started to sweat.

"You only have one bullet per day and we both know why. That's why that gun is not loaded," I continue. He started to walk backward and the police came running at him, then handcuffs him while saying the police line.

"You are one reckless kid. Do you know you can die here if we didn't manage to come on time?" Captain Li scolded me and I scoff.

"You already know my plan and you just scolded me now?" She smiled.

"Great job, now let's treat your wounds," she said. She supported me stand up and walk. I felt like someone touch my shoulder making me look back and my eyes widen. "Is something wrong?"

"No, Captain Li, can I stay for a while? I need to do something," she looks at me frowning before agreeing.

I waited for her to leave before turning my back. "For a human, you seem not scared of me," she said.

"After all the shock I experienced, I think I become immune to it," I replied.

"Sorry, for the trouble I cause," she said lowering her head.

"It's not your fault, you are not responsible for the choice your father made, but the death of my friends, maybe. But it doesn't matter, it already happened,"

"You let go of things easily, why so?"

"Even though I want to blame you, I can't. I understand everything that happened that's why I can't blame you,"

"Thank you, Scar, for setting me free," she said and disappear.

S**t! First, killing my classmates, now, this! I can't believe I just saw and talked to a ghost!!!! I experience so much shock these days!!! God.
