The Cursed Shore (Alloyia Series Book 1)

Present day

Kade and Jayda are in the middle of a heist, an infiltration of the pirate islands, they were sent by General Jarah to scout the pirate islands and report back so that the Medievians could plan an attack on the pirates. They chose Jayda and Kade because they were the best scouts in all Medievia. They had the stealth and flexibility of a ninja, the strength of a warrior, and the stamina of a wolf.

While they were hiding from people walking the halls of the bar, Kade noticed a crack in the floor, with his very trained eye he could see that there was a hole under the boards of the bar. 

He whispered "Jayda! there's a tunnel under that board, if we can get under there we can hide in there until the bar is closed down, then we can get out and scout during the night."

Jayda replied "alright lets go"

Jayda used their strength to lift the board from the ground and she climbed into the tiny tunnel, they squeezed their bodies to the bottom of the tunnel, where they could see a slight light, when they reached a flat section of ground where they could stand. They started walking down the tunnel towards the light. They suddenly stopped when Jayda fell of an abrupt cliff, and Kade caught her. He pulled her back up and stood there in shock, gold glimmered in the middle of a swampy moat.

"Jayda.... am I seeing what I think I'm seeing"

"I think you are..."

"We need to report this back after we scout the island"

"yes.... yes we do"

They still stood there in shock from seeing the amount of treasure that they saw. They sat there and stared at all the treasure until the bar closed down. after a few minutes to make sure they were alone, they started to scout the island, but they couldn't stop thinking about the treasure.

Soon they arrived back in Medievia they went up into the castle and informed the council of the map they created of the basic shape of the islands. As they were wrapping up the meeting Kade said.

"Oh and one last thing everyone... There is treasure buried on that island. Tons and Tons of gold."

They stared at both of them.. then back at each other.

"The Pirates were searching for years and you're saying that they didn't even check their own land?"

"yy..yes sir... if you send us back, we can go and get proof" Kade proposed

General Kilba answered this time "That would be extremely dangerous, if someone spotted you before, and then spots you again this time, they will have suspicions, and could lead to war."

Jayda responded to this "Well then.. maybe war is what we need to unite the 3 segments of Alloyia's main island"
