*2 week timeskip*
Rehearsals had started for Grease and it was a blast. I mean, I got to hang out with Sutton Foster! And Mike, but who cares about him. Sutton Foster! We had around six weeks left to rehearse and we moved to the theatre in four weeks. It was stressful but in a good way. Currently, as the boys rehearsed Grease Lightening the girls went and got fitted for costumes.

"So Jocelyn, you and Mike are together right?" Mandy, the girl who plays Patty Simcox

"Yeah, why?" All attention was drawn to us

"So he's totally off the market?"

"Yeah. He's off the market."

"That's unfortunate. I thought he was pretty cute." What?

"Yeah, I do too."

"Maybe you guys will break up."

Who does she think she is? I hadn't even thought about us breaking up. Now it's gonna be on my mind all the time. Was he getting tired of me. Mandy was really pretty. But so am I. Right?

"I wouldn't count on it." I joked laughing nervously

"We'll see." She walked out of the room with her costume on

We'll see? We'll see? This is gonna bother me forever now. Oh no, what if she tried something. But Mike wouldn't do that. Would he? I was still talking to Sutton and Dani; who played Frenchy. I tried to carry on as normal but it was difficult. Once my costume was on and ready to go I headed out with Dani to watch the guys rehearse Grease Lightening.

It was amusing to watch them mess up the choreography and trip over the car prop sometimes. I sat over by my bag and Sutton and Dani joined me. We talked quietly trying not to disrupt them. They finished up the number and Mike ran over to grab his water bottle. He shot me a smile and wink before walking back over to the guys. I blushed lightly as the director called over the girls to work on Look At Me I'm Sandra Dee. We pulled over a table and chairs to act as the bed and ottoman. I sat on the table as the pianist counted me in. I started the song and we all joined in and did the song. Mostly all of us messed up some of the choreography but it was nothing major.

I could see Mike watching me from the corner of my eye as we ended the song. The director, Georgia, told us to do it again. We did it again and it improved a lot. Nobody messed up and the vocals were good. We ran the number a few more times before the whole cast got their lunch break. I grabbed my lunch box and headed for the door. Sutton, Mandy, Freddie; who played Danny, and I went down to the lunch room at 42nd Studios.

We sat down at the table and I opened my lunch box. Inside I packed myself a simple pb&j sandwich with some strawberries and a small piece of chocolate. Underneath my sandwich however, there was a note.

move in with me?

- Mike

What. Is this a joke? I looked up and saw Mike standing in the doorway talking to somebody from another production. He saw the note in my hand and winked at me. My face grew hot.

"Jocey? You okay?" Sutton asks me

"Yeah. Perfect."

I talked to my table for the rest of our half hour lunch break, every once in a while stealing glances at Mike. And a few times I caught him doing the same.

Once our lunch break was done I took my sweet time packing up and it seems as did Mike. I walked over by the door and up the stairs. Mike caught up and fell in step behind me.

"You got my note?"

"Yes."

"And?"

"What about Tommy?"

"I already asked him. He said yes. What'll you say."

"Does your complex allow pets?"

"Yeah they do. Why?"

"Can we get a cat for the apartment?"

We reached the top of the stairs and at the door to the rehearsal studio. Mike turned to me.

"Are you saying yes!"

"I suppose I am!"

Mike pulled me into an aggressive hug but quickly let go and entered the room and rushed straight over to his friends. After a few seconds they all turned to me. I'm assuming he told them. Portia, our choreographer, called the girls over to work on Summer Nights choreography. It wasn't too hard but obviously a few mistakes are gonna be made with new choreography.

We worked on that for an hour or so, but I got called over to the piano to work on There Are Worse Things I Could Do. The guys were rehearsing some scenes, and the girls Summer Nights.

The vocal coach and pianist, Jackson, gave me my sheet music and counted me in. I started my sing but stopped at the verse for some corrections and notes. This went on with different verse and choruses until I got to run through the full song. I did the full song and felt pretty good. The sun was beginning to set and we got a 20 minute break. My closest friend on the cast, Dani, and I found a balcony to sit on and watch the sunset.

"What happened at lunch today. You were blushing a whole lot." She teased

"Well, Mike asked me to move in with him!" I smiled at the thought

"Really! That's great! And, it'll get Mandy off your back."

"Ugh, she needs to calm down. Right?"

"Right. She shouldn't say that about other girls boyfriends!"

"Yeah. But I'll have to live with it. I mean, we have to work with her for who knows how long."

"I suppose. Hey, we should be getting back."

"Alright. Let's go!"

We walked back into our rehearsal space and ended the last hour strong. I put my all in every number, every note, and every line. Just for fun.
