Dear Old Friend,
I played Chopsticks on the piano the other day and couldn't help but think of you. Tears filled my eyes at the thought of you not being here to teach me anymore songs to play and the times when you did.
I remember nights where you were at the pub and played songs for the kids on the piano, they all laughed and joined in on the singing and dancing, I miss that.
I remember that every time you went to the pub you would have at least one Red Wine with ice and if you weren't staying there long; you would usually ask if we wanted to come round to your house for a drink and a snack.
I remember the first time you came to my house and taught me how to play 'When The Saints Go Marching In' , I can still play it, do you hear me when I do? Every time I go past your house I think of you...and the times when some friends and I walked there after school to practice for the Carols by Candle Light, you said that we were good singers.
Its been a couple of months since you and your husband(Bill) passed away now and I think of you both at least once every day. What I'm trying to say is, I miss you both very much and just wish that I could give you both a big hug and say goodbye for the last time but i can't, so I'm saying it now and hope that you are both happy where you are and maybe one day we will meet again.
Dear Old Friend,
I miss you......
