In this world of Demon, Angels, Humans and magic. None of the three realms believed in creatures that lived in oceans and had melodious voices capable of hypnotizing someone.

Mermaid and Sirens, a mystery to all three realms. We're they real? We're Sirens and Mermaids the same? Did one of them exist or both?

No one knew, other than the people who had chance encounters however those people had long died after making fortune of the creatures.

Mermaid and Sirens, both were wary of the creatures belonging to the three realms. Why would they go near greedy beings who only wanted their scales or to keep them trapped as entertainment?

Mermaids were however nicer. If they saw a creature from the land they would escape especially if it was a pirate.

Sirens however we're different. They used to be Mermaids but when these mythical creatures use their voices to kill, they turn into Sirens.

Sirens had sharp teeth, capable of ripping flesh apart with ease, their webbed hands would turn to claws capable of denting stones.

Their tail would turn darker as they turned into a Siren and their pupils would turn to slits.

However, these two lived in harmony because most Sirens were forced to kill humans otherwise they would be captured.

They had nothing to gain by killing Mermaids because they had no hierarchy. They lived in underwater villages, caught food on their own and found their own coves. They would mate if they found someone they truly loved.

Mermaids had a lot of diversity. Tropical to Arctic, all Mermaids existed. Sirens however we're all the same after they transformed.

Their body became capable of adapting to any water body and they were able to travel long distances.

Mc was a Mermaid. Specifically a Mermaid that lived in cold temperatures of the DevilDom sea.

Their scales were a little thicker than a normal Open-Sea Mermaid. Their build was strong enough to be able to kill a shark if they wished.

They lived in a cove that was a few hundred kilometers away from the nearest shore.

They were a solitary Mermaid who would eat fishes of any size they came across. They would collect random trinkets dropped in the ocean and take them back to their cove.

They lived peacefully, until one day a Demon pirate ship came near their cove. Mc didn't know what the pirates were looking for.

So, they decided to hide until they left. They were swimming back towards their cove using a school of fish as cover.

But a shark came and tried to eat the fish which scared them away right when Mc was near the ship.

"Hey! Look at what's in the water!" A guy yelled. A few people came and looked.

Mc was a few feet deep in the water so they weren't visible properly in the night.
