It's a long year for Taeyeon as she focus herself in becoming the best trainee of EsEm Entertainment. A known entertainment company in South Korea that produces well known artist all around the world. Her goal is to debut as a solo artist. She's particularly close to Tiffany. They've been roommates since the moment Tiffany started her training not long after her.
"I'm getting hype up for our debut, Taeyeon!" Tiffany said excitedly as she arranged the letters that she received from her fans. Even though they are just trainees, EsEm already let these fans to give letters to their trainees.
"Have you heard about the gossips around Esem?" Taeyeon asked. She usually doesn't care about gossip but this time, it's different.
Tiffany furrowed her eyebrows. She's not sure about the gossip that Taeyeon was talking about. Although she had a hunch that it was something to do with the formation of a new girl group.
Taeyeon rolled her eyes and laugh. "If you're thinking about the new girl group, then you're right."
"That's earlier than expected."
They laughed and proceeded to enter the EsEm building as usual. They saw other female trainees as well. They are in the vocal department right now because above all trainees, they were the good ones in singing alongside Seohyun and Sunny.
As they reached their practice room, Tiffany excused herself because she'll be meeting other female trainees in the cafeteria. Taeyeon being an introvert does not like to dwell with people that much because for her it takes too much of her energy.
Taeyeon entered their practice room and was surprised to see this familiar trainee playing the piano. She sat far away from her and started to take out her notes. The female trainee still plays the piano and was not aware that Taeyeon is with her.
The trainee was about to do the final variation of the piece when Taeyeon accidentally dropped her tumbler. She looked at Taeyeon with a blank face.
Taeyeon gulped, "sorry about that." There was a slight tone of panic in Taeyeon's voice as she uttered that sentence.
The female trainee just shrugged and walked towards the door, "Jessica."
Taeyeon looked at her.
"My name is Jessica." She said again and left the room.
Taeyeon was surprised to hear Jessica's voice for the first time. She knew about this trainee because Jessica is the best dancer, second to Hyoyeon. That's why it's a big question to her as to why the hell Jessica is in their practice room.
Their vocal practice started after an hour. Taeyeon is with Tiffany, Sunny and Seohyun again. While in the middle of their training, they were interrupted by the CEO, Mr. Lee Soo Man. The four girls immediately formed a horizontal line and greeted their CEO which made the man laugh.
"The four of you were practicing hard lately." He said as he patted their shoulders. The four girls smiled as a response, "well I don't want to interrupt you for so long. I would like to introduce this young girl here."
Just in time, Jessica entered the room with a little smile on her face which made Taeyeon a little bit curious about this ace trainee.
"Hello everyone, my name is Jung Jessica. I was born and raised in America. It is nice meeting you all." She said with a flat voice.
Mr. Lee laughed because he knows that Jessica is not good with interacting with other people. "I hope you'll have a good relationship with these girls. Anyway, I have to go. I still have a lot of errands to do. Fighting!"
The four girls bowed and continued to their practice. Taeyeon, Tiffany, Sunny, and Seohyun proceeded in improving their vocal techniques. Jessica just watched them behind their vocal coach as she take down notes on the important parts of the training.
