"Daddy I'm scared"
"I know but it's okay, it's okay", he gently said.
"Daddy?"
"What?" He questioned.
Suddenly the alarm went off and I was lifted from the ground, he sprinted off towards the rest of our pack.
"Run everyone to the Dark Moon pack and tell them I sent you."
"You aren't coming are you?" My brother Tanner asked. When he didn't respond Hunter my other older brother started to shed tears from his small brown eyes.
"Hey look at me",he said as he tilted our chins up.
"Stay hidden, and don't forget to protect each other, especially your sister."
And with that last sentence my mother shifted into a dark brown wolf and we rode on her back, tears still running down my cheeks.
I watched as the trees flew by and after what felt like hours we finally hit a clearing. I looked up through my blurred vision and saw a large mansion that I would soon call home.
