chapter 3. Demon slayer training pt.2

After a few months, Suki finally got a trainer. She was going to be using water breathing,her trainer was Mr urokodaki.

Iguro was slightly upset that suki had to leave,but he remained his cold aura when he said goodbye. Suki left the hashira grounds and made her way to urokodaki. While she was traveling, she ran into a boy named kamishiro. He was also going to urokodaki,so they decided to walk there together.

When suki and kamishiro got to urokodaki, urokodaki immediately started the training with them. Suki was unfazed by some of the stuff he made them do to train, Kamishiro would wine sometimes but still did it. Suki would train until her arms felt like falling off,kamishiro had to remind her not to overdo it. Suki and kamishiro developed a strong bond during the first couple of months' training.  Their bond was like a sibling bond,it made suki feel like she still had family.

Suki was training in the forest with a wooden sword until kamishiro ran over to her. "Hey, suki! Can you help me train..-?, this is way too hard.. I just don't get it!" He spoke as he ran over to her. Suki decided that she would help him train. kamishiro always doubted himself and felt like he could never do it,but suki always motivated him into doing it over and over again until he got it right. They trained day and night together until they were exhausted. Suki and kamishiro finished training and walked back over to the house to rest. In a few months, they would enter the final selection, so they had to train extra hard. They rested for the night and slept until early in the morning.

Suki woke up bright and early and woke up kamishiro. He wined and didn't want to train again. "Nooo! I don't want to! It's too hard!" Suki stared at him with a stoic expression,then spoke. "Do you want me to have to drag you there...?" She said coldly in a threatening tone. "Eek! No! Ok ok fine I'll go!..." kamishiro replied back quickly.

Suki and kamishiro walked back over to the mountain and trained with each other. kamishiro wasn't learning fast. There would he no way he could make it to final selection at the same time as suki. Kamishiro pouted and wined as he trained,not wanting to do it. "Just train harder.. you'll get the hang of it, I'm sure you will." Suki exclaimed. "Thanks suki..you really do help me. If it wasn't for you, i probably would've given up by now.." kamishiro said and smiled.

Suki decided to use her nichirin sword this time and tried cutting the boulder. Kamishiro tilted his head,confused as he watched her. "Is that even possible? That rock is really tough,and it's pretty big..." kamishiro said. Suki kept trying to slice the boulder until she finally sliced it. She was very surprised she managed to do it. Kamishiro smiled widely. "You did it, suki! I'm so proud of you!" He cheered. Suki remained a blank expression. "Thanks, I guess..." she replied.

Suki would soon be going to final selection without kamishiro. She didn't want to leave him here, but urokodaki promised to help him train while she was gone. Suki stayed there for a couple of days more before heading off to final selection. Kamishiro wined and didn't want her to leave. He clinged onto her tightly and gave her a hug. "Please stay safe,suki.." he mumbled while hugging her. Suki stood there silently as he hugged her,then hugged him back after a moment. "I will. I promise, kami." She reassured him. Kamishiro pouted again as she walked away off to final selection.

Will she survive?...
