Chapter 6:As we were currently making our way to the blacksmith Mister Kaidou wanted to introduce us to, a what looks to be a noble man with a creepy face caught my attention once I saw him walking out of a workshop just grinning away, looking like a villain in the process. The workshop seems to be the same one we were currently heading to. As he passed us, he didn't seems to notice us at all, probably since he's minding his own business, or too full of himself but one thing I know for sure is, stay away from him. Even if I dislike judging people based on their appearance alone, My gut is telling me otherwise.
Anyways, we are now right in front of the entryway of the workshop, it looks like how you would imagine a blacksmith's workshop to look like. I kinda expected the smith to be like how the fantasy book have written them to be if I'm being honest.
"Yo! Ya in there?" Shouted Mister Kaidou.
That's one way to get someone's attention, I guess. Judging from how he speaking when trying to get the person inside's attention, they must have been very close.
"Hello, there!"
"Excuse us, Sir." I said as we followed Mister Kaidou into the workshop after being greeted by them. As I entered, I can see a troubled face on the person who is inside of the workshop.
'This must be the smith...!'
I thought to myself, since he was the only one here which was self explanatory. But, why does he looked so troubled? Did something happened? Could it have something to do with the creepy looking noble who left the store earlier...?
"So..., What brings you here today, Kaidou? And who are those people behind you?" The old man said.
As I expected, he looks exactly like an old geezer who deals with weaponry and machines... that fantasy book really captured the appearance of the different things in this world. Now that I think about it, That Fantasy book really closely captured the appearance and names of the monsters I have seen back in the cave, too.
'What's up with that? Did I get transported into the book or something?'.
Looking back, I didn't really see the author's name anywhere on the book either. Strange....
"Well, lets begin with explaining the situation first."
Mister Kaidou was kind enough to give him a quick recap on our situation and also about the mine incident aswell while I added a few more details, which seems to make things go at a pace. When I trying my best to properly explain thing to be understandable though... Papa had to stepped in half way through my explanation since I might have forgotten a thing or 2...
"Phew..., After you mentioned about the incident that occurred in the mines, I became pretty worried. Thank goodness they are safe... and you said that the potions was provided by them, right? I would like to give you my utmost thanks, I don't know how I can ever repay you."
He bowed down as he thanked us.
"Um.. do please raise your head back up."
Papa responded, looking discomforted. Pretty surprising seeing Papa being discomforted by this. Was it because he was bowing? Or is there another reason?
Also, quite the quick mood change on the smith's part. He went from serious and grumpy looking, to one of relieved and happiness. As I was thinking about the change in his mood, I suddenly heard footsteps coming right from behind. Looking back, I saw 3 men (Dwarves) entering the workshop with smiles on each of their faces.
"Hey! Are we disturbing something?"
One of men spoke out, scratching the back of his head as he asked the question.
