3rd POV
The girls arrived to the train station and Violet immediately started looking for her green haired friend, Midoriya.
Once she saw the messy haired boy, she ran up to him and wrapped her arms around his neck, "Good Morning my favourite little broccoli!" She greeted, and in an instant Midoriya's face was bright red.
"B-broccoli?!" Midoriya shrieked. Violet giggled and let go of the boy, "Yeah, Broccoli! Because your hair kind of reminds me of broccoli." Midoriya nodded and looked over to Layla, who seemed a bit out of her usual self.
"Alright, all of you have your costumes, correct?" Aizawa asked as he guided the students through the train station. The class responded with yeahs, and all of those responses.
"Good. Wearing your hero suit out in public is prohibited, but don't drop them whatever you do." His voice had a very serious tone as always and Mina responded with quite a slurred yeah, which apparently annoyed Aizawa because he scolded her for doing it."Be on your best behaviour and don't get the police called on you for something stupid! Now off you all go!" And with that, the students moved to their respective platforms for their train.
Midoriya noticed Ida being quieter than usual and called out to him, "Ida! If you ever have something on your mind or if it ever gets too much, just remember that you are free to tell us. we're your friends." Layla and Violet stopped and waited for Midoriya.
A sad smile appeared on the blue haired boys hair, as he turned around to meet Midoriya's gaze, "Sure." Was all he said before walking off towards his platform.
Midoriya frowned a little at Ida's response, but decided not to say anything else.
"Come on Deku! Let's get on our train!" Midoriya spun around to Layla waving him over. His smiled brightened and he quickly moved over to the two girls.
"What were you and glasses talking about?" Layla asked as the all moved to their platform.
Midoriya was confused at the little nickname Layla had given Ida, but just her what happened. She nodded and they arrived at the platform. Midoriya was about to ask her if she was alright, when the train arrived for them to get in.
They got seated in the train and weren't able to find a three person seat, so Violet sat in a seat by herself with the others suitcases on the other seat, and Midoriya and Layla sat beside one another.
Layla pulled out her phone and put in her headphones, planning on reading the whole trip. But about 10 minutes into the train ride, she feels a gentle tap on her shoulder.
She takes out one of her earphones out and looks at the green haired boy beside her, "What do you need?" She asked him in a slightly irritated voice.
Midoriya gulped and stuttered out his question, "I-I just wanted to ask if y-you were alright! You just seem a little off." Layla seemed a little shocked by the boys concern.
She sat still for a minute, debating whether to tell him or not, before finally sighing and turned back to Midoriya.
"If I tell you, you have to promise not to tell anyone." Her eyes had a stern look about them and Midoriya quickly nodded.Layla took a deep breath in before lowering her voice to tell him the story, "Well, last night I went out for a walk and I came in contact with a villain, at least I think he was." She summarised, but that didn't stop Midoriya from sitting there shocked and wanting to ask millions of questions.
Seeing his want for answers she spoke, "If you ask one question at a time I will answer them as best as I can." Midoriya didn't hesitate in taking the opportunity to ask questions, but not before he brought out one of his notebooks.
"Why were you out late at night?"
"I couldn't sleep properly." Midoriya started to scribble stuff down and nodded before asking another question.
"Was the villain one from the USJ attack?" Layla thought for a minute before shaking her head.
"No, but he was very intimidating, and handsome." She mumbled the last part but Midoriya was too busy writing.
"Alright. And what did the villain look like?"
"Well, very handsome, he had purple scars all over his face, chest and arms, he had spiky black hair, kind-of like Bakugou's and glowy blue eyes." Layla ranted off how the villain looked and Midoriya made a small sketch on how he thought the villain looked.
"And did you see what his quirk was at all, or did he tell you?" Midoriya asked as he finally looked up from his notebook for a minute.
Layla though back to the previous nights encounter, when she remembered something the man showed her, "His quirk is fire, but instead of being red like Todoroki's, the flame was blue." Midoriya immediately went right back to writing and Layla just looked at him.
"Are you done with all your questions?" Layla asked, just to be responded by a hand telling her to stop talking for a minute.
She groaned but chuckled and a couple seconds later he looked up and smiled, "I have one last question for you, did you get his name?" Layla thought over the whole previous night and shook her head no.
Midoriya shrugged and wrote a couple words down before getting another notebook out of his yellow backpack and skimmed through the whole thing.
"It seems like I haven't heard or seen anyone that you described anywhere, maybe the man isn't very well known?" He suggested, but Layla couldn't do anything but shrug."I have no clue, but the man did say that I would find out his name eventually. I don't know what that means but I don't think it's supposed to be good." Layla added, Midoriya nodded and went to writing about his classmates and their quirks and their drawbacks and how they work.
After a 45 minute train ride the three teenagers arrived at their destination. Midoriya looked down to the piece of paper he had gotten off All Might for the directions to the place they were all going to stay during their internship with this Gran Torino.
"I've never heard of Gran Torino before, he must one mighty guy if All Might is even scared of him." Midoriya boasted, then he looked up from the piece of paper to see a building that was slightly decaying and an uneasy feeling came over him. He breathed in and mustered up the courage to walk up to the door and open it, "Midoriya, are you sure we don't have the wrong place?" Layla asked while pointing to the building.
"I'm pretty sure I do..." His voice didn't seem very certain, so Violet started to panic. "Oh great, we're gonna get raped." Midoriya started to open the door and spun around with a shocked face.
"We aren't going to get raped, we'll just go in and see if anyone is home." So of course he cautiously opened the door and carefully looked around, "Hello? My name is Izuku Midoriya and I'm here with Violet and Layla. We're here to do our internships... AAAAHHHHH!" Midoriya screamed, so the girls pushed the door open even further to see what was wrong.
"What's wrong Midori-OH MY GOD! I THINK HE'S DEAD!"
