Foreword
Poets are both architects and engineers.
This is my belief and philosophy as a trying-hard poet myself. We create our poetry as much as the architects design infrastructures and engineers build their buildings.
Our similarities between them (the architects and engineers) rely mostly upon our passion and willpower to create something for the betterment of everything.
But the exciting part comes in when our differences are mentioned.
Architects and Engineers always design and build to aid people, but poets, we, sometimes burn our creations.
To express our pain.
To die.
To reborn. On Bridges That We Burnt is a collection of poems that I have written over time and dedicated to the people whom I learned to cherish but broke my heart and left me hanging in the process.
I built bridges to share my experiences, emotions, and deep secrets to build relationships. And I am burning my bridges down through this.
To free myself.
and move forward.Cornelius
