The Beginning

Voldemort (Tom) told Wormtail (Peter Pettigrew) to lead him to the boy and his parents. What Tom did surprised all of the death eaters especially Wormtail, Tom took Harry Potter instead of killing him and his parents.
Tom raised the Dark Prince (Harry) as his own weapon, making sure to keep his face hidden at all times, he looked like a masked murderer his whole life. No one will ever know who the Dark Prince really is all they will ever know is that the Dark Prince is Lord Voldemort's son. As The Dark Prince got older the more people feared him, people would run at the sight of him 15 feet away, even the death eaters were scared of the Dark Prince. Learning from a very young age, the Dark Prince was one of 2 wizards that knew almost every spell, although Tom knew all of them, The Dark Prince had mastered them to a perfection. He was even better than Dumbledore himself.
Almost everyone called him 'The Dark Prince' but that was only the people who didn't know the real person behind the mask. The people who know the real person called him 'Harry' those were the people Harry trusted and kept very close, those people were Voldemort, Bellatrix, and later Blaise and Pansy, even Draco once they got to know him. Harry's friends and what he knew as family knew the kind person he really was, but they also knew that he was someone they should mess with either. The people who called him 'The Dark Prince' knew the masked murderer, dictator, and power holder, they didn't know the person under the mask, the sweet and kind person.
