"𝐇𝐈𝐈𝐈𝐈𝐈 𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐀𝐀" says a drunken Alexis, clutching on to my arm to stop her from falling.

Before, I was worried one of her drinks might have been drugged, but now I've seen her I'm fairly confident she's just overly drunk which is a much better prospect.

"Hey sugar," I smile back. Drunk Lexi is such a sweetheart but also says everything as it is to you. She's probably gonna hit on everybody tonight as we leave. After a while she'll become really clingy and not want to be by herself.

"Who was that absolute hunk of a man you were talking with ?" she slurs. I called it.

"I just met him tonight, didn't get his name." We'd been so busy talking and dancing that the thought of asking for each other's name had completely missed my mind and clearly his too.

"He was totally into you, I could just tell from the way he looked at you with those eyes. Do you know what they were saying ? It was either, 'I'm so in love with you I want to marry you and have babies with you' or 'Have you got something on your face or does it always look like that?' "

I burst out into hysterical laughter to the point that we start getting weird stares that I choose to ignore.

"I promise you Alexis, he wasn't looking at me in any type of way and neither was I."

"So you're not thinking about how nice his hands felt right now ?"

Maybe I am but that's completely irrelevant and not something I'm sharing with Lexi, who would use it against me forever.

I definitely am.

"That's fine if you don't want him I'll have him all to -" Her words are unfortunately cut off when her heel gets caught on part of the pavement. She almost falls down but I catch her.

Luckily, Dean arrives at the same time so I no longer have to worry about holding Lexi upright. He gives me a hand comfortably sliding her into the car and then closes the door behind both of us once we're in.

The moment the car sets off she falls asleep on my shoulder. Dean looks at us through the rearview mirror and chuckles to himself.

"Long night ?"

"For one of us at least," I joke.

We spend the majority of our drive in comfortable silence and when he eventually parks the car, Lexi almost instantly wakes up and her eyes squint at the light as I unbutton her seatbelt. When I try to move my arm I can't, because she's taken an iron grip of it.

"Sleepover ?"

She bats her eyelashes at me and looking at her green eyes, I just can't say no to them.

"Come on then."

"Have a good night, Malia" My driver calls to me as I leave the car, walking into my house.
