I woke up feeling nervous it wasn't everyday that I entered into the selection. And this selection was going to be different King Maxon and Queen America never had a son they only had one girl named Carly who would be the first girl ever to hold her own selection and I, Andrew Maynor, hope to win her heart but first I have to be chosen.

The form I had to fill out took what felt like hours  it asked me my height, age, caste, weight, special talents, and other random facts. Finally when I was done my mom and I walked to the office to turn in the form but there was a HUGE line it looked like all the boys ages 16-20 where there. Many were dressed in sharp suits but since I was a six I was dressed in a polo and some what clean jeans. My mom being the uptight person that she is had to comment on my outfit, "I should have dressed you up nicer I hope the Princess isn't choosing just based on looks cause if she is well..." I wasn't paying much attention though I was thinking about the Princess and how just the idea of her made me blush. My mom saw me blushing, "I didn't know you liked the Princess that much why dear you are blushing so much you look like the tomatoes in my garden." She started to giggle and continued to babble on but I wasn't listening I was to busy thinking about Princess Carly.

When we got into the office the lady had to take my picture so I smiled I smiled so big because I was imagining the Princess choosing me. When we got home I was too tired to acknowledge my baby sister Grace who was so excited that I had a actual chance to meet the Princess, but tonight I wasn't in the mood so I went to bed dreaming about what the Princess smelled like, sounded like, and even what she acted like and I quickly fell asleep.
