Month: August.
Everything good, everything magical happens between the months of June and August. June, July and August..these 3 months has definitely some kinds of vibe.
Joon-hee could relate to this the most. He fell in love with someone,it was not the first time he fell for somebody but he knew that this has something special.
This was the first time,he fell this hard that he didn't gave up instead he tried,he waited and is waiting. He didn't know what to call this love but this love was definitely sweet, beautiful and forever to him.
At school: basketball court
It was the matchday. The team had to compete with their no. 1 enemy Byeol High School.
The 4 had enemies from that school,to be specific except Yeol,the other 3 had enemies there but Yeol believed in if your friends hate someone, you gotta hate that person as well.
Taeyang hated the captain of Byeol High's basketball team cause all that guy knew was how to cheat in game. Minhyuk hated someone who once hit him win the middle of a match few years back. And Joon hated one guy from that school bcuz that guy always talk dirty with his boyfriend.
The match still has not started yet.
Taeyang was with his team, discussing about how to handle the opponent and telling them to be calm during the match.
"Someone came to wish you luck buddy"Yeol said to Taeyang. The latter turned around as he saw Joon-hee waving from far.
He went near the younger as he asked "what are you doing here?". "I came to wish you luck"stated Joon-hee. "Thanks but what about the match?"the other asked. "I have to go to practice for the drama"said the younger. The other looked confused as he asked"what drama?"
"For the school fest.."
"Soo you won't watch me play?"Taeyang murmured as he felt disappointed. The other nodded as he said "I won't watch but I know our school will win". The other chuckled as he asked "you are so sure about it?". "Obviously"
"Okay if we win..as you said.. you'll be the first person I will hug after winning..and I'll hang out with you"stated the older which made the other frown. "you're serious?". Taeyang nodded.
"You mean it?"Joon-hee asked as he couldn't believe what he heard. "Fuck! yes"Taeyang answered. Joon-hee cupped the other's face which made the other startled and asked again "stop cursing and say you mean it?"
"Yes!"the older said he smiled.
"Promise?"
"Promise!and I keep my promises"
The other's eyes lit up due to excitement as he prayed for their win.
"Taeyang.. match is about to start"Minhyuk said coming forward. He sounded cold as he saw them together but deep inside he accepted his fate.
Taeyang nodded as he looked at Joon-hee. The latter wished them luck as he left from there.
Daeil vs Byeol,the match begins
Taeyang hit the ball in the air as he won the toss therefore the game begins.
He passed the ball to his teammate so that they would throw the ball into the hoop to score a point. They were the first to score.
They didn't celebrate much as they continued with their game.
Everything was going perfect until Minhyuk was hit by an opponent member intentionally. Minhyuk fell down as others came near him to check if he was alright. But Minhyuk stood up soon as he went near the guy who hit him.
"What was that?"
"Nothing!"the boy answered with a smirk. "If you can't play..then go home and fuck yourself"Minhyuk stated. The boy scoffed as he answered "you go home and fuck your bitch bcuz all you do is arguing.. instead of playing"
Minhyuk was about to punch but Taeyang stopped him as he said to the other"enough..show him how well you play and how important you're to our school"
Minhyuk sighed as he nodded.
The game continued. Minhyuk took the ball as he threw the ball into the hoop. All of them were energetic as it could be seen how much devotion and determination they had towards the game.
Only the last 12 minutes were now.
Daeil vs Byeol
17 points. 19 points.
Taeyang's team was not in lead as in the previous 12 minutes the Byeol played so well that it became hard for them to win but they were not going to give up. They were going to play till the end as they were determined that they would win no matter what happens.
"Boys..we worked hard..and we'll play till the end and will give our best..we just need 3 more points to win and we've got 12 minutes.."Taeyang stated as all of them were standing infront of him. "So we will win right?"
"YESSS!!"everyone said together.
The last 12 minutes started. The time felt like it was going on too fast. Taeyang was standing in the position from where they could score 3 points. The other mates we're trying to save the ball from the opponents and pass it to Taeyang.
They soon passed the ball to Taeyang and he wasted no time as he focused on the hoop and threw the ball towards it and it fell inside the hoop.
And then they won. Everyone screamed out of excitement. The did it. They won the game. Everyone from Taeyang's team were congratulated by their coach.
The 3 came to hug Taeyang but the latter stopped them "sorry guys.. I gotta promise to keep.."he chuckled as he walked away saying "I'll be back soon"
He walked through the corridor in search of Joon-hee. He was asking randomly everyone if they have seen the younger but the younger was an unknown to many as he never participated in any volunteering activities, neither sports nor any musical event. All he did was seeing others shining like a star while he remained in the darkness. He was always surrounded by people who were more famous so he never got a chance to be in the limelight.
Taeyang found Ha-neul, Joon-hee's friend. He asked"where's your friend?". "Joon-hee? He must be there in the auditorium"
"Okay thanks!"
The older was about to leave but the other stopped his as he asked"did our school win?". Taeyang smiled as he nodded. "M-Minhyuk hyung-". Taeyang chuckled as he answered "he must be in the basketball court.."he left as soon as he said that.
He got inside auditorium hall. He eyes were searching for Joon-hee. He finally found the younger who was sitting on the floor and was zoned out. Taeyang chuckled at the sight as he called "Joon-hee!"
Joon-hee looked at the other. He felt like he got his energy back after seeing the older. He waved at the older.
"Did we won-"
Before Joon-hee could finish his words, Taeyang wrapped his arms around Joon-hee's small waist as he pulled the other for a hug. The younger grinned as he hugged back. "Soo we won"said the younger. "Hmm!"Taeyang mumbled as he hugged the other more tightly, having the urge to freeze the moment and hug the younger forever.
