Suki and kamishiro started walking back down the mountain to Mr urokodaki. Kamishiro glanced at her,then spoke as he was still walking beside her. "Do you think we can maybe work together since we're official demon slayers now?" Kamishiro said in a quiet tone. Suki stared at him for a moment while thinking as Kamishiro patiently waited for her reply. After a few moments,she replied. "..fine." she muttered. A big smile appeared on kamishiros' face,and hugged her. She smiled slightly to herself,but barley, and hugged him back. They continued walking and made it back to urokodaki. When urokodaki saw them,he walked over to them. "I am pleased to see you two successfully made it through final selection,I have no doubt you will become stronger the more you train." He said in a serious tone,but great full that they returned alive. "From now on,I will not be training you, but you will stay here until your swords arrive." He added. Both suki and kamishiro nodded, and all three of them walked into the house. Both suki and kamishiro were talking to each other about final selection in their bedroom that they shared. after a while, Urokdaki came into their room to check on them and saw that they both fell asleep together, he didn't want to wake them up so he let them be and left the room again.
(Fast forward 3 days later)
A couple of days later, their swords came. They all sat together as listened to the swordsmith talk about the nichirin sword. "And you...girl with the white hair... there's a chance your sword will turn completely white.. Those are very powerful swords..hurry up,and take it out!!" He exclaimed,hoping to see her sword turn a snowy white color. She took her sword out,and it began changing colors.. but it wasn't white..it was a grey color. "What? Grey?!?!" The swordsmith hollored,disappointed he didn't get to see a sword turn white. "Whatever.. you,boy! Take yours out." He exclaimed. "Uh.. okay.." kamishiro muttered. He took his sword out, and it turned a black and white faded color. "Huh?..a faded sword.." urokodaki said, confused. "HUH?! I-IS THAT A BAD THING??" Kamishiro said, worried. "No..it's just something you don't usually see.. but forget the sword color.. you guys need to go and do your missions,I hope you succeed as demon slayers. I wish you luck in battle." Urokodaki said to the both of them. Suki and kamishiro began to walk to the door as suki's crow started babbling. "Head north east!! Head north east!! Go towards the entertainment district! Keep watch for demons!!" The crow yapped and babbled,cawing in between his words. "OK! We get it!" Kamishiro said, annoyed. The 2 of them started to walk to the entertainment district and saw the boy from the final selection walking there aswell. Kamishiro shouted out to him. "Hey! Aren't you from the final selection? Are you heading to the entertainment district as well?" He asked. "Don't go around acting like we're friends..cause we aren't." The boy said coldly. Kamishiro tilted his head,confused slightly. "I was just asking a quest-" kamishiro was cut off by the boy talking again. "Obviously,I'm heading to the entertainment district." He furrowed his brows slightly,but they couldn't see because of the warding mask he was wearing. "What's it to you?" He added coldly. Kamishiro replied as suki stayed quiet,listening to them. "We are aswell,would you like to come with us?" The boy glared at them. "Whatever.." he muttered in a cold tone again. Then,the 3 of them began heading to the entertainment district together.
