That same night a few minutes earlier
Kathrine
A loud yawn escaped from my lips as I rubbed the sleep from eyes sitting up bed. "Ah, hello Kathrine" Doctor Aswin's spoke in a sing song tone as he wandered into the palace's ward to closer observe me by my bedside.
He was quite a tall and lanky man in his late thirties. He had a rosy ivory complexion and thin mahogany brown hair wearing his usual doctor attire.
"How are you feeling?" He asked gently fluffing my pillow behind my back. "I'm feeling a lot better now doctor thank you" I beamed sat up in position so Doctor Aswin could uses his stethoscope he could listen to my heartbeat.
After a few minutes or so he removed the stethoscope against my chest and placed them around his shoulder wiping the sudden sweat dripping his forehead.
"Is everything ok, Doctor Aswin?" I voiced my concern, worriedly glancing at my doctor's surprisedly and odd sick-like appearance. "Yes Kathrine, I'm find" he nodded sweating through his clothing. "Do you mean if I excuse myself for a moment, Kathrine?"
I snook my head agreeably in a polite manner. "Yes of course doctor, take all the time you need" Doctor Aswin covered his hand over his and hurried into the bathroom forceable nearly breaking down it's door in the process.
The sound of smashing glass coming of inside the bathroom alarmed me. So I got up from my chamber to see what was going on.
And.
I.
Couldn't.
Believe.
My.
Eyes.
Doctor Aswin was gone. Instead there stood in the bathroom in front of the broken mirror was a creature I had never seen before in my life.
It slowly turned around and fixed it's hollow eyes dead in my sight. And it's lamprey mouth exposed it's shape teeth as I stood still drenched in fear while it growled loudly.
A bloodcurdling shriek escaped from my lips which caused the creature to chase after me through the ward. I picked up anything I could get my hands to protect myself with.
The creature ran at high speed and knocked me to the ground head first. It stood over me and smell my fear leaning in inches staring me in the face trying to intimidate its pray.
Which.
Was.
Me.
I weeped trying to move off the ground in one piece whist using the pair of scissors I found as a weapon. To stab in the creature in the eye with it several times.
The busted door open and I cry your mercy i was so happy to see them all. But only made the creature livid. Maud and other the protecters changed for the kill towards the creature to help.
