After rehearsal I was tired but not at the same time. I was excited for my big move. Everything was packed in boxes and my landlord already had buyers for my apartment. The doorbell rang and I ran to the door with a huge smile on my face. I opened the door and shoved a box into Mikes hand.

"Woah! Somebody's excited!" He kissed my forehead

I grabbed a box for myself and pushed him out the door. We had rented a u-haul car for my stuff. We set the boxes in the car and went back for more. After more and more trips to and fro the car, we were finished. My giddy feeling had not  gone away. I was sat in the passenger seat of the u-haul after I turned in my apartment keys. Mike shut the truck part of the vehicle and came to the driver side.

"You ready?"

I looked back at my apartment building

"Ready."

He started up the car and drove the 15 minutes to his complex. We talked the whole time, the incident from earlier was forgotten. Once arrived at my new home I saw Tommy standing outside. Once the car was in park I jumped our and sped-walked to Tommy.

"Jocelyn!"

"Tommy!"

He pulled me into a hug. After a few seconds I pulled back and hopped up and down in place with a giggle.

"I'm so excited!" I exclaimed walking back to the u-haul and taking a box

We all took two boxes up and after a few more trips we were done. I moved my clothes and stuff into Mikes room and saw he had cleared half of the closet for me. So sweet. I turned around and saw my boyfriend leaning in the doorway. I walked over and wrapped my arms around his waist. He reciprocated the action and chucked slightly.

"Thank you." I muttered

"For what?"

"Everything?"

"I'll take it."

.  .  .

Finally we had unpacked everything and we were all tired. I really wanted to go to dinner but I was tired. And we both had rehearsal tomorrow. I was sat on our bed scrolling through Instagram when Mike came in and sat beside me.

"Joss, can we postpone the dinner?" He asked apprehensively

"Yes!" I said immediately and Mike gave me an amused look "Sorry. I was kinda hoping you would say that."

I yawned and turned my phone off. Luckily, I was already ready for bed so I wouldn't have to get up.

"Tired?" Mike asked me

"Very."

He pulled me closer to him and shut off the lights. My head rested on his chest and my leg crossed over his slightly. I fell asleep quickly, ready for the next day.
