Above is the new person's shift...
It's about the size of a draft horse, and I realized Felix's shift is actually about the size of a small horse based on how high his shoulders come up on Fera
.

Felix woke up to the sounds of Fera getting dressed. It was earlier than he usually got up and Felix didn't think anything special was going on so he was confused. Fera noticed his confusion and scooped him up carrying him into the kitchen. He placed Felix on the counter, and started making their breakfasts before he spoke up.

"I need to talk to you about something." Fera had a calm tone to his voice, hoping not to startle Felix, who tensed but nodded for him to continue.

"The shelter where u got you called me. They asked if I could take another shifter who wasn't doing well."

Felix was shocked to say the least. He didn't think there were any other shifters, and he definitely never imagined one would end up on the same alien planet that he was on. He didn't say anything, and let Fera continue.

"I agreed to take him, but on the condition that they find another solution if things don't work out after a month."

The condition made Felix feel a bit better, and though he was nervous, he was also excited to meet another shifter. They moved to the table and Felix sat in his raised chair as they ate breakfast. Just as Fera finished washing their dirty dishes there was a knock on the door.

Fera and Felix both walked up to the door. Fera pulled it open and on the other side was an alien similar to Fera holding a carrier with what looked like a young boy with grey hair inside of it. They moved aside so he could be carried in and he was instructed to place the carrier on the living room floor. They quickly said their goodbyes and then it was just Fera, Felix, and the boy in the carrier.

They sat and waited for the boy to wake up. While waiting Felix took a good look at the boy and realized that while he was larger than Felix, he looked about the same age as him. Just then the boy started to stir. He seemed groggy at first, but he quickly shot up and darted towards the back of the cage.

Felix was all too familiar with what he must be feeling, and subconsciously started to release calming pheromones. The boy who had begun to growl stopped and tilted his head when he smelled Felix's pheromones, which smelled like the woods and rain. He shuffled a tad closer to get a better look at Felix who was crouched a few feet from the carrier. Both Felix and Fera were startled when the boy spoke.

"Are you... are you like me?" He asked, his voice sounding fragile. Felix took a second to respond, but stepped closer before answering.

"I think so, but I'm not sure." After he answered the other boy seem to think for a second then he released a wave of his own pheromones and Felix saw grey ears on the boys head and a fluffy tail over his shoulder. He smelled like a campfire, and Felix couldn't help but purr at the scent. He absolutely loved the smell, and he wanted to get closer, but Fera put a hand on his shoulder before he could. At that the boy seemed to notice Fera and jumped back letting out a hiss.

Felix jumped behind Fera and was peaking around his legs. The boy relaxed a bit from his defensive position, and had a guilty look on his face. "Wait please come back, I didn't mean to scare you. The big guy just startled me. What's your name?"

Felix shuffled out from behind Fera's legs, who just silently watched them, before he replied, "Felix, what's yours?"

"Jasper, and who's the alien?"

Fera decided to reply this time and crouched down, causing Jasper to jump a bit, "I am Fera, and Felix is my pet, just like you are now."

Jasper looked at him with disgust, before returning to a blank stare, "That's messed up, you can't own another person." He tried to reason with Fera before looking to Felix, "Why do you go along with this, what about your family, don't you want to get back to them?"

Hearing this Felix opened his arms, silently asking for Fera to hold, to which he complied with no hesitation. Felix burrowed into his chest before mumbling out a response, "They didn't want me, and they hurt me. Fera loves me, and he treats me better than they ever did. I don't want to leave him, I like it here."

Jasper once again looked guilty after hearing how Felix's family treated him. Fera moved closer to the carrier while holding Felix. "I'll let you out, but you have to promise to behave, that's all I ask."

Jasper didn't reply, but his shoulders slumped and he nodded, seeming to have given up on arguing with them.
