Izuku will be part of a test of sorts that he and Nezu come up with, the main idea is how well can a non quirked individual do in a hero work environment, the secondary idea was how the students working as heroes would interact with a vigilante in t...
Izuku had arrived with Aizawa in Nezu's office and were now taking a elevator to somewhere only Nezu knew.
Sitting in the silence was alright with the three of them and they didn't need to wait long as the elevator dinged to notify them of their arrival at their destination, when the doors opened they were showed the place Nezu wanted to get them too.
Izuku whistled and looked around the small subway station and he took notice of the small yet fast looking train on the rails, before he could look around more he was guided towards the train to get on.
He did so and sat in a comfortable seat next to his teacher with his principal sitting down across from them in a custom made chair with a tea set to its right side.
A few moments after entering and taking a seat the train started to move at what Izuku could only suspect to be going around 60 miles a hour.
The small chitchatting that filled the air was helpful for Izuku's nerves, as much as he tried to calm himself down he simply couldn't due to a certain thing he was trying to come to terms with.
The problem was trying to get over his mental dilemma on how his new or rather true persona would be used in the exam, he had long since realized his own personality was a mask for his past trauma.
Being his old happy go lucky self always felt wrong yet he never knew why until now, it took some test and some self evaluation until he stumbled upon the realization that he had a emotion mask.
Said mask was to hide his pain form his bully's and most importantly his mother who he didn't want to see hurt from seeing his truly broken self.
It took some getting used to but some exercises on mental stability helped him drop the mask when he was alone, however he hadn't ever dropped it in front of people before so this would be the first time doing so.
He sighed deeply which didn't go unnoticed by his teachers, Aizawa especially worried at this new side of his student "Problem child, you doing okay?"
Izuku tensed at the question but replied "Y-yeah, just some apprehension is all."
Aizawa took a glance at Nezu who nodded "You know problem child, if it's about dropping the mask then you could back out at any time?"
Izuku gripped his pants before answering "I know, I know but this needs to happen. This is a test for me to finally break out of my mask and become the person I'm truly meant to be."
These words made Nezu and Aizawa proud of their young charge and Nezu spoke "That's quite a task ahead of you my boy, I have to say I'm looking forward to your debut."
Izuku smiled and thanked him, it was also then that they arrived to their destination which happened to be the base Izuku would be using in the exam.
