I went back to the college feeling very suspicious of Eshna. She told me that she had been in the dorm but Mrs Gupta just told me that she had been the one to pick Manvi up. Could this mean that the killer had been by my side the whole time? This would explain the letter on my bed and the fact that the body hadn't been reported. But why would Eshna kill her best friend? She had to have done it. At that moment, the only people who knew about the body had been me, Eshna and TK. If Eshna was TK then that meant that I was on my own. This certainly meant one thing. I couldn't trust Eshna. Since I couldn't really trust anyone else, I went to Akshay's dorm and told him everything.
Initially he looked shocked and even a little surprised. He quickly changed his expression and said "Let's do this". My main reason for telling him had been the fact that he joined this year. He couldn't have known Manvi well enough to actually want to kill her.
