The next morning, Ben woke up before everyone else. He sat by the window looking out across the frozen tundra.

Rey woke up and found him there. She kissed the top of his head then sat down in his lap.

"Is something troubling you?" she asked him, gently.

"I just wish that I could have stopped this from happening," he replied.

"I know how you feel, just don't beat yourself up too much," she answered.

Ben wrapped his arms around her waist and hugged her.

"I saw you playing with the children yesterday. It was so cute," she said.

Ben laughed. "Cute?"

Rey smiled and kissed him. "Yes. You're adorable."

Ben gently tapped the end of her nose with his finger. "So are you."

"Maybe you both can have some of your own soon," Hux said propping himself against the door frame and crossing his arms across his chest as he smiled deviously at the two.

"Some of our own what?" Ben asked.

"Cute little kids" Hux answered.

Ben looked at Hux with a look that said, 'don't say that,' because he wasn't really sure if Rey was ready to even think about a serious relationship. They had just recently started courting each other.

Rey smiled. "I think you would be a wonderful father," she kissed Ben's cheek.

Ben smiled at her.

Hux's face warped into announce as he once again faded from the two lover's view. "I'm not sure Ben would be a good father he's too distracted by his lady."

Ben kissed Rey then turned to Hux. "Was there something you wanted to talk to us about, Owen?" 

"Well yes if you are both done staring into each other's eyes," Hux replied.

They both blushed.

"Yeah..." Ben mumbled.

"Good" Hux said moving forward "we need to discuss what our next move is this base is on the empire's radar it won't be long before they look here again."

"Maybe we should go back to Endor?" Ben suggested.

"Retaliation strike?" Hux asked.

"Yes," Ben replied solemnly.

"That's fine by me! Though we should be cautious." Hux rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

Ben nodded.

"Do you think the Empire would suspect that we would go there?" Rey asked.

"No not really!" Hux shifted his posture placing a hand on his hip. "But you can never be to careful!"

Ben nodded. "That's for sure."

"Well then if we have all come to an agreement then I shall go and get the men ready! You two can continue from where I interrupted!"

Ben blushed.

"Don't you need our help?" Rey asked.

"No! You both should enjoy yourself together, while you have the chance." Hux said before lowering his eyes sadly.

Ben gave him a curious look. "Is something troubling you, Owen?"

"No!" He waved his hands in front of him frantically. "Not at all you two just, get back to flirting" he then darted off down the hall.

"Is he usually like that?" Rey asked Ben.

Ben shook his head. "Something's troubling him."

"Do you think it's because you're spending more time with me than with him?" Rey asked.

"I don't think so. He probably had a fight with Phasma," he replied.

"Awe, I hope they can work it out," Rey replied.

"Me too. I'll talk to Owen whenever he's not busy," Ben replied.

She nodded.

Ben pulled her closer and laid his head on her shoulder. "I love you Rey, more than anything in the whole galaxy."

Rey smiled and placed a kiss in his soft hair. "I love you too, Ben Solo, more than anything."
