Chapter 1

P. O. V Isabella

*6:00 a.m.*

It was my first day in the 9th grade. I was happy that I would graduate Junior High this year.

When I went with Mom before school started to see with what teacher would be my home room, I was left feeling really angry. Mr. Gutierrez my worst teacher. To think math at the first hour, brain fried you will be.

I looked at the clock 6:30 a.m. With much resistance I got up, at last, I couldn't keep avoiding this, if not I would arrive late.

I started my daily routine which I hated with a passion, I took a shower, washed my mouth, got dressed and now the hard task my hair. This curly hair and hard to maintain but at last I got it wet, untangled it some Jelly and done. Next the accessories and the most minimum of make up 'cause I didn't want to look like a clown. A little bit of lipstick, eye liner and done. I looked myself in the mirror and thought that I looked Ok and got out of my room.

I heard Mom in the kitchen most probably making breakfast for my brother. Lazy.

"Isabella make some breakfast for yourself while I wake up Xavier." Meanwhile I murmured "Just what I thought."

I made myself some grilled cheese and got seated to eat. When I took my first bite I couldn't eat it. Stupid nerves I have been in this school since Kinder Garden I don't know why I'm nervous. I tried and tried but I couldn't eat it so I left it for Mom.

That's when I heard a ruckus. "Xavier I told you to get dressed already!" "I don't wanna go!" I looked at them both while the had their argument this boy 11 years old and he is going through is rebel days phase. It's really irritating. "Xavier go and wash you're mouth then eat" I told him to se if he did something. "Shut up" he told me, I swear I'll smack you, you little weasel. But at last I let him be or Mom would smack me.

When Xavier finally got dressed and could eat. With much resistance but he did it.

"Kids grab you're stuff, we're leaving!" Mom screamed from the car I got my book bag and we left.

We arrived at school and I turned to Mom. "I love you" she told us, I smiled and went to lock for my crazy best friend. I'm serious when I first meet her she seamed normal.

"Isabella!" I heard someone scream. When I looked, I noticed that my friend was coming at a dangerously fast pace towards me.

"Roweena! Don't be and animal. Do you want us to fall" I told her while I hugged her.

She looked at me and blushed a little. "Sorry I haven't seen you during all the vacations, I missed you" she said a little sheepish. I looked at her and that's when I noticed her hair.

"What the heck did you do to you're hair?!?!?!" It was the color of a rainbow.

She smiled. "What don't you like it"

"No it's not that it's just that I wanted to paint it like that"

"Well you know what they say great minds think I like" she said.

"You're right, well I'm gonna paint it another way" I said grinning like the cheeserie cat.

"Isa you're scaring me what are you gonna do?" She asked me a little worried but you could hear the humor in her voice.

"Oh nothing you'll see"

We walked until we found Nicole. "Hey Nicole!" Screamed Roweena.

Nicole looked at us a little alarmed by the sudden screaming but came towards us. " Hey gir---- Roweena what the hell did you do to you're hair?!?!?!"

I tried to contain my laughter but failed and Roweena shot me a glare.

"Nothing Nicole a unicorn barfed on my head" Roweena said sarcasm lacing her voice.

I couldn't take it anymore and laughed out loud.

Nicole looked at her not impressed. "Hahaha comical, as I was gonna say Isabella we're in the same group"

"Yeah I know" I wanted to change groups but they couldn't do anything. It's not that I hate the girl but sometimes she can be so irritating.

"Did you guys hear the Spanish teacher hasn't arrived" said Roweena who is sadly in the other group.

"Seriously? I didn't know" I told her.

*Bell rings*

"Well then Roweena see you at lunch" I told her and looked at Nicole and we started to go up the stairs.

"Look Tania arrived" I looked down and yes she was talking to Roweena.

"Late as always" I told Nicole.

When we arrived at the classroom Nicole took me to a table. I sat down and looked at the people who arrived. At least being in this school all you're life you know them already.

I saw Maria that entered and sat with us. Later Sophia and Pedro.

A group of boys entered but I didn't pay them attention since Mr. Gutierrez started talking.

"Well since all of you have arrived stand up we're going to an assembly at the gym" said Mr. Gutierrez.

Nicole looked at him and said "Mr. Are you serious why did we enter in the first place" he looked at her and laugh then went to his desk.

"Rude much" Nicole told me.

"Come on relax its not the end of the world" I told her while I dragged her out of the classroom.

When the assembly finished I found out that I had a knew Theater teacher and the Spanish teacher hasn't arrived. And the rest I already know them perks of being here since Kinder Garden.

When we went back to the classroom and we sat down I heard a laugh that made my heart beat race I looked at the table were I heard it from and it was him.
