Chapter 12

A year later Loren is scheduled to be on the Ellen DeGeneres show.

Ellen: She became an overnight pop sensation selling more than 8 million copies of her new and first album please welcome the beautiful Loren Tate!

-The crowd starts clapping and cheering and the DJ begins playing something in the air (Eddie's Song) as she walks out waving and running to hug Ellen; they sit down

Loren: Hi

Ellen: Hello, how are you?

Loren: Amazing. I can't believe I'm really on the Ellen show!

Ellen: Well believe it because you're here. First off I just have to say I love your album

Loren: Thank you so much. And by the way I love that you played one of Eddie's song as I came out

Ellen: Yeah I thought that would be cozy. Speaking of Eddie his tour starts soon, when does he leave?

Loren: He left yesterday

-She makes a pouty face

Ellen: Aw, but now are you going to join him?

Loren: Yeah I'm going next week for his first show

Ellen: Next week! Then why the heck did he leave yesterday?

Loren: Him and the band want to do a um "boys only road trip" or something before the tour

Ellen: I see

Loren: Yeah so he and our parents are there. So I guess technically it isn't a guy's trip if my mom is there, but whatever

Ellen: That's right, your mom Nora and Eddie's dad Max are a married

Loren: Yep. They got married about a year ago

Ellen: What's that like?

Loren: You know you would think it would be awkward for us but it really isn't. They are so great for each other and we're beyond happy for them.

Ellen: Well I had the pleasure of being at the wedding and so many people kept crowding you and Eddie. What was that about?

Loren: They kept asking when is that going to be you two? Is it weird that now you're brother and sister? It didn't end.

Ellen: That sucks

Loren: Well Eddie had a simple answer for everyone, NO

Ellen: Nice. Now on another subject, i have to ask, what's your living situation because the paparazzi keep taking photos of you overnight like everywhere! Where are you really living? With Eddie?

Loren: No my best friend Mel and I got an apartment together

Ellen: You and Eddie aren't living together by now? How long have y'all been together now?

Loren: Two years

-Ellen stares at her in shock and Loren laughs

Ellen: And you're not living together?

Loren: Well I mean half of my stuff is there so technically but my best friend Mel and I always planned on getting a place together so we did. Of course Eddie would rather I stayed with him, but yeah

Ellen: Well when you're over there what's it like?

Loren: He and my Mom might kill me for saying this but Ellen, he is such a slob!

-Everyone laughs

Ellen: How so?

Loren: Ok so he and I had been recording a lot and we would work totally different hours. I would go into the studio at night and he would go in the afternoon so when we are home we would like pass out and so it's 4 in the morning and I'm completely out of it, I walk in the door and his shoes and shirt and stuff are in a trail up the stairs
