Tired & Confused

"Boss and Noeul begin to distance themselves little by little, the fanservice for them is quite exhausting, reaching the point where one of them is confused and the other doesn't know how to fix it."

-ONE SHOT-

The last two months for Noeul had been quite strange, to the point where he was very confused about Boss. He looked so good in front of the cameras, a natural actor, he wouldn't deny it, an expert in acting. He knew that Boss had previously had other small acting projects, so he was used to it.

On the other hand, it had been quite difficult for him because he had broken the rule of every actor "not to fall in love with your co-star", which made him bitter about the fact that his partner pretended so well, or showed interest in him when they were being filmed, but when they were out of it, Boss became distant, for some time now, long before he began to feel confused.

"Noeul, we'll be heading to the event soon, there are many people outside waiting for us," Peat said after entering the dressing room where Boss and Noeul were finishing getting dressed, as their outfits had a small issue.

"I know this exhausts you, and I know you haven't been as lucky as Fort and I" Peat whispered after approaching him to hug him, also reminding him that he would always be there for him.

Noeul was aware of the constant encouragement and support that Fort and Peat offered him. After months of filming, the series airing, and a few events, they realized that they had forged something more than a friendship and decided to give it a chance. Noeul was happy, as he sometimes felt like he had been adopted by the couple.

"What did they say?" a curious Boss asked Noeul as soon as Peat and Fort had left the dressing room.

"Oh, not much, just that there were many people waiting for us outside, and he was wishing me good luck, apart from reminding me that he loves me, the usual. Why do you ask?"

Boss stared at him for a while to see if he was lying, but it didn't seem like he was. "Nothing, just curiosity. Lately, they both, especially Peat, have been overly protective of you. Is there something I don't know?"

Noeul felt like a bucket of cold water had been poured over him, and he tensed up a bit, but then he remembered that he was an actor and could take control of the situation.

"Not that I know of. Why do you ask?" he asked, making a confused expression. "Is it because they're around me a lot? It's normal. They told me that they're together thanks to me, and I think they just appreciate me a lot for that and are really grateful. Sometimes, it feels like they've adopted me in a way, and it's nice," Noeul said, trying to calm himself down before smiling.

Boss felt uneasy, feeling like he was doing something wrong with Noeul or simply damaging the beautiful chemistry they had built since they met. Before, Noeul was very affectionate with him, even after they stopped working or left the cameras, but now he only clung to him when they were doing fan service, and he took advantage of those moments simply because he didn't know what else to do, and if he had the opportunity to make a move, even in front of many people, he would take it. There was a time when he was dealing with a situation outside of work with his ex-partner, and even though he hadn't told anyone, he sometimes felt like Noeul knew about it and that was why he behaved that way.

"Come on, our fans are waiting for us" Boss said, taking Noeul's hand before they left together, standing close to the other couple.

The event was going very well thanks to their fans, but as always, Noeul was already getting tired, and from time to time, Fort made him laugh, all of this at Peat's request since he wasn't as good at it. There were many occasions just that day where Boss tried to kiss him, hugged him, and said things that made him very shy. He was really good at what he did, and Noeul was becoming more confused every day. Why would someone act like that with someone who is supposed to be just a co-worker or friend? Oh, right, the impeccable fan service. He was starting to hate that.
