Getting Ready

"Get up!" Your mom shouts at you for the 5th time. "You need to get ready for the dinner tonight!" You look at the clock on your nightstand and the time reads 10:00 am. You huff and crawl out of bed slowly.

You walk downstairs to get food before you shower, and your family looks at you with shock. "You look awful" your little brother Mike states. "Thanks shithead" you reply.

After you enjoy your eggs and bacon, you go upstairs and pick out your clothes for the dinner. A short white dress, black thigh high boots, and a black headband. Before you leave your room you look at the clock, 11:00. You have 5 more hours until the dinner.

After you shower you walk back to your room and look at the clock, 12:00. You shake your head and begin to get dressed. It takes you 15 minutes. You decide since it's a fancy dinner, you should get makeup done, you put on a black smokey eye and red lipstick.

As you are reading a random book you found in your room, you realize you still have 3 hours to spare. So you decide to take a nap.

Mom knocks on the door and you wake up. Looking at the clock "4:00 pm", shit. Your mom tells you that you have an hour to get ready to go or she's leaving you home. You quickly get up and redo your lipstick, and brush your hair again. You rummage through your room to find a purse to bring. You find the purse you brought to your favorite singers tour last year, the "Taylor Swift: Reputation Stadium Tour".

As you walk out the door and mom drives you away. You get a sudden pit in your stomach that your mom didn't tell you the whole truth of why we were going to this dinner.

Pulling into the driveway of this house, you notice security blocking the door, mom had to give a special password to get in. You enjoy some food and sit with your family, a couple hours later people start getting loud, and you get up to see the commotion you see someone... no way.... it can't be...
