Emma is finishing the final bits of their robot. Her best friends, Boe and Kylie were watching as she finished the programming. "Okay, we will start with a test. If everything goes to plan, this will emit a small blue flame before dying out, in the airtight bulb." She says, gesturing to the Benson burner in the hollow light bulb.

Boe took a long sip of his drink, before Kylie, who was eating candy, bumped into him, causing him to spill it on the device.
A bunch of blue and purple lightning bolts come from the device, and it begins to go haywire.

They all pass out, as they and the device blip out of existence.

Meanwhile, in another dimension...

A group of inanimate objects are behind a curtain, waiting for something as something appears alongside them.
A shell, with a light purple color and slightly darker colored specks.
A candy, with a turquoise wrapper.
And a can of soda. Judging by the design, it is likely a fruit punch of some kind.
All of them have functional limbs.
The other objects look at the sudden new people. "What in the- even more!? We cannot all fit behind this curtain." The Spoon shouted in disapproval, but the Candle raised a hand to silence the spoon.

"Oh, uhm, hello. Where are we?" The soda can asked, standing up in confusion as the candy helps the shell sit up. "We're waiting for our introduction. We're on a reality TV show, and this could make or break people's viewpoint on us!" A face on the floor replied. "Well, I guess I've got more than my parents to disappoint." The shell muttered as they stretched their new, sticklike limbs. "I must say, I've never seen a pattern like yours" The cabinet responded, opening her lower cabinet and pulling out a spare file, beginning to write frantically.
"What-" The train of thought was cut off by a large crashing noise from the shore.

The small candy timidly peeked out from the curtain to check, seeing a large boat, presumably a small cruise ship, beginning to break down slightly offshore. A few folks, no more than six, from what she could tell, were lying on the sand, likely exhausted. "Hey, let's let them recover, okay K?" The Soda can told the small candy, who nodded, looking away.

After a few minutes, there was a commotion of arguing from the shore.
