6 ~ Bending Lights

Starscream's POV

Both Dreadwing and Soundwave had already tried to hit on me, and they have succeeded honestly. Now, should I expect someone else to try to confess me a certain love toward me? Maybe.

Okay, the answer is yes, since I just received a message from Shockwave that asks me to show up at one of the empty mines in the Decepticon domains.

As soon as I finished my task, I went away and directly reached the flying deck, jumping off of it, and started twirling in the sky. The wind against my alt mode was enjoyable, and I really loved the sensation of being in complete control of myself.

Soon enough, I reached the mine, and with grace, I landed on the ground right in front of the entrance. I started walking, hearing my heels tapping on the cold, hard ground as I went deeper into the cave.

After a while, I started noticing some crystals stuck in the walls until I reached the center of the cave where Shockwave was waiting.
I ran toward him and noticed how I was still as tall as him, and when I tapped on his shoulder plate, he turned, seeing me.

Shockwave: "Starscream, here you are."

Starscream: "Yeah, sorry if I'm late, I had to finish some tasks."

Shockwave: "Don't worry, I called you here to show you something."

It was weird for him not to be annoyed by someone being late, but I kind of ignored it while he stepped in a specific point.
He looked at me and reached out with his servo. As soon as I gave him mine, he brought me closer to himself.

I wasn't sure what he was trying to do or achieve, but soon enough, I saw from the entrance of the cave that the sun was rising.
Quickly, the light from the morning sunrise reached us, but mostly, it hitted some crystals.

The light got reflected on the crystals, and many beams of concentrated light appeared in the cave, and it was such a beautiful sight.
As I admired this beauty, I felt a gaze on me, and turning, I saw Shockwave staring at me. When I turned my faceplate to him, he quickly looked away, and I swear I saw some blue on his faceplate.

I chuckled slightly since, honestly, it was an adorable thing.
I looked once more at the lights before the sun passed the cave entrance, and they disappeared.

Shockwave: "I apologize, I was not able to make it last long-"

I didn't let him finish. I grabbed his helm and kissed the side of it, where I suppose should have been his cheek plate.
He stopped functioning, and Primus how cute he was. I don't think he really does have an intake or cheek plates. It did seem like he was smiling incoherently.
He was stuttering, and his optic kept twitching, while in the meantime, I chuckled.

Starscream: "Are you really that east to flutter?"

Shockwave: "...s-seems like it."

Starscream: "Well, we could test this theory one of these days."

I left another couple of kisses around his helm, and dear AllSpark, he was such a fluttered mess.
With one last hug, I told him I had to go back and waved at him while running out the cave and flew back on the Nemesis.

Shockwave's POV

When I asked Soundwave for a ground bridge, he made me wait something like 30 human minutes for it. He was pissed.
They were all pissed.

Dreadwing: "THAT WASN'T FAIR!"

Airachnid: "Using science to hit on her!? Are you a nerd!?"

Shockwave: "In the meantime, it worked."

Predaking: "...wow- so we can use science?"

A cocky, annoying voice came into the conversation.

Knockout: "Well, she was a scientist back on Cybertron."

We all turned to look at him in shock.
Not that's not a pun.

Shockwave: "She was?"

Knockout: "The reason your light game worked is because Vos rarely had enough natural light to do that kind of things, and by her words, she 'never had the occasion to see Vos' buildings shine like glass in the sunlight'."

I can't say I didn't know that.
Why? I did some research about this, and it paid off.

Megatron: "...lucky glitch."

Predaking: "Oh, come on! That's too much!"

Dreadwing: "Is it, tho?"

Airachnid: "No it isn't. YOU SLAGGING GLITCH SON OF A-"

Predaking grabbed Airachnid and blocked her from saying anything else. He's being the most reasonable here.

All the others? A bunch of glitches.
