"Will!"
Jay stopped down the hall from his brother, who was already walking in his direction after the receptionist informed him that his brother needed to see him. Even from across the hospital floor he could hear the screaming that seemed to originate from Lennox's hospital room.
"What the hell is going on?"
"She's in pain, it's just getting worse." Jay said briefly, running back to the room with Will.
When they got there Will saw her state - she was almost hyperventilating, her heart rate was through the roof on the monitors and she'd broken a sweat, squeezing the bedframe with one hand so hard that her knuckles were white with the other wrapped around Caleb's fist.
"How long has she been like this?"
"I got here an hour ago almost, Skye said she'd been getting worse for an hour before that the nurse said she had to talk to you." Jay explained.
"You've gotta give her something man, she's in too much pain, she can't stay like this." Caleb's voice was shaky with concern.
Jay shook his head as Will checked his watch and did the same. "It's only been an hour, I can't give her anything she shouldn't even be in pain."
"Just give me the meds, please I can't- you have to make it stop." Lennox shook her head frantically as Will sighed.
"Lennox you've already had two doses, I can't give you-"
"Give me the damn meds!!" She screamed.
Will leant back slightly as she glared at him, Jay staring at her in dismay. He'd never seen her so angry, with eyes so dark they looked black in the shadows of the room.
