I was waiting in the wings when I heard my cue to come out. I ran downstage and looked at the audience. I bowed and as I came up I saw Ben, Ben, Sky, Josh, and Jeremy. I waved at them before stepping back and watching Sutton and Freddy come out and bow. We all walked downstage and linked hands. On the left of me was Portia and on the other Mike. As we bowed I gave Mikes hand a squeeze and then we all ran offstage.

The time was around 5:00 and Mike and I were gonna order dinner. We went to our respective dressing rooms and I changed into some sweats and a t-shirt. I talked to my girls before a knock at the door occurred. I volunteered to answer it and on the other side was Mike!

"Hey!"

"I'm gonna grab our dinner from the restaurant we passed on the way here?" His hand went to my arm

"Great, I trust you with my order!"

"Eat in my dressing room?"

"Sure! Knock when you're back."

And with that I closed the door and re-entered the conversation. We conversed for about 30 minutes when Mike knocked on the door again and I said my goodbyes to the girls. He led the way to his and Sammy, who plays Doody.

"Hey Sam!"

"Jocelyn. Mike. I'm gonna go hang with Freddy."

"I don't want to kick you out!" I laughed

"No, you're good!"

He left the room and I took his chair and Mike took out our food. He got me chicken strips! Yay! We talked for a bit before switching on he show we've been watching at home. We finished our food at the clock struck 6:15. I said goodbye to Mike and ran to my dressing room. I got dressed in my costume touched up my makeup and met back up with Mike in the wings.

I stood there looking around before I felt a jacket fall over my shoulders. I turned around and smiled at my boyfriend. I pressed a kiss to his cheek and gasped as it transfered. A giggle escaped my mouth as he turned confused.

"What?" He smiled

"Come with me!" I took his hand and rushed him to my dressing room

I knew the girls weren't on there so I sat him in Dani's chair and pulled out a makeup wipe. With one hand i cupped his cheek and turned his face. I wiped the lipstick off and threw the wipe away.

"There."

"Ready to go?"

He stood up and held out his hand. I took it and he pulled me to the wings awaiting our entrance. I stood there with Mikes T-Birds jacket until I gave it back to him and walked onstage to start my scene.

Once again, I took my bow and stepped back into line. After our group bow I was exhausted. I walked back to the dressing room with Eloise. Once all the girls were in we got changed. I took off my makeup and ran to turn in my mic for the night. I went back to the dressing room and took out my hair and threw it into a low ponytail.

"Alright, I'm gonna hit stage door and then head out with Mikey! Bye girls!"

"Bye Jocelyn!" They all yelled back

I walked out the stage-door and people screamed. Joyfully I hope. I went down and took pictures and signed playbills. I was turning to go inside when Mike walked out.

"Meet you inside in ten?"

"Yeah. I love you."

He kissed me softly and people went wild.

"I love you too!"

I waved to the crowd and went back inside. I decided to chill on the stage and texted Mike where I was. A few minutes of me scrolling through my phone and Mike appeared at my side. I stood up and grabbed his hand as we exited the theatre and to the subway.

The train wasn't too crowded but there were no seats left. I stood against Mikes chest and held onto the bar in front of me.

"Mike?"

He hummed in response

"When are we getting my kitty?"

He laughed and kissed my temple.

"Our day off. Friday. For real this time.."

"That's also my birthday." I realized

"Consider it a birthday gift. I was wondering if you wanted to invite people over for a party?"

"Yeah, I mean the T-Birds and Pink Ladies, obviously! And the boys from Newsies? I know you're still in touch with a lot of them and I a few."

"Sounds good so about 40, 50 people?"

"Yeah, should we just do it at the apartment or somewhere else?"

"The apartment. We can order pizza or some shit. Buy some booze."

"In that case, could we get the kitty on Saturday after our show at 2:00?"

"Yeah, of course!"

I smiled and leaned onto my boyfriend. One of his arms went around my waist and my hand rested on his. A few minutes later we arrived at our station and we got off. Our short walk was concluded when we reached the apartment. I called the shower first and ran into the bathroom. I took a quick shower and dried my hair before leaving the bathroom and laying down on the bed. Mike went in after me. After a few minutes of soft vintage music and soft water rushing I fell into a deep slumber.

sorry for the late post! I had my opening night of The Sound of Music and I'm playing Maria so it's been hectic. And my brothers grad party is tomorrow and I'm making cookies and some bread! I hope y'all are liking it so far! Big things coming in next chapters!
