Bad new...(Ch1)

Rylee's pov

I woke up to a hot shimmer on my face. I'd have left the window open last night. I grabbed my phone to see it was past 9. I'M LATE!!! I screamed in my head as I rushed out of bed and over to my closet to grab the school uniform, after I grab my uniform I rushed to the bathroom to brush my teeth. "RIE OPEN THE DOOR!" I heard as I was washing my mouth "COMING!" I mumbled still have water in my mouth, I changed and opened the door to see a annoyed Emaleigh and tired Cora beside her "About time, we are going to be late let's go and they're having pancakes you know how rare that is!?" Em really likes pancakes for some reason, I think they're sticky and to sweet.

At breakfast

I grabbed a biscuit and some water from the stan and followed Cora to are table where Bryson, Colby, Nikki, Max and Emaleigh was already sitting but something was off? "Where's Luke?" Cora ask opening her soda can. Who drinks soda at this time. "Idk we all have texted, called and went to his dorm but we could find him and I'm getting worried." Nikki responded with a sad tone. "Well he likes nature, you could check on the trail?" I responded as everyone looked at me scared. "Why do you guys look so scared is something wrong with the trail?" Emaleigh ask rolling her eyes. "Didn't you hear?" Colby said whispering this time "No?" Cora said as fast as he finishes his sentence. "Well the principal told us that the trail was off limits because of an unknown accident that he won't tell us about." He wispered again across the table.

At history+ Coras pov

I'm worried about Luke I mean they can't find him and he won't answer his phone. I hope he ok. "Miss Amis look at the board." I quickly pull my head up but learning about WW2 isn't as important as finding Luke. "Does anyone know why WW2 happened?" Mrs Jackson ask looking for a hand. "Oh yes Rylee!" Rylee looked at Emaleigh as Emaleigh looked at me then She looked back at Rylee then smirked knowing She doesn't know the answer "u-um because the presidents got in a fight?" The teacher just looked at Rylee like she doesn't have a brain then called on someone else. *Ringggggg* Mrs. Jackson walked up to her desk and answered the phne. "Hello Mrs. Jackson?........oh....yes I will inform my students bye."
"Students please listen up, are classmate Luke has gone missing." A few students had started crying but I'd be lying if I didn't cry to.

At Lunch

I was following behind Em as we sat down.
"Guys I'm thinking about going to the trail tonight to investigate. It's not right that the school won't let the police investigate school ground." Everyone looked at Em like she was breaking a law "Emaleigh I agree that it's a bit odd but I'm sure it nothing and you know what will happen if you get caught out there specially past curfew!" Max response worried. "I going with Emaleigh." Rylee says rolling her eyes at max "Also if the school and police aren't going to investigate here someone might as well!" Bryson response after Rylee "Do you guys know how dangerous that is!?" Max says still trying to convince us. "Well I don't care! They are doing hardly nothing to help find him!" Bryson said smack his hands on the table causeing it to shake "I'm with you" Nikki and Colby responsed to Bryson. "Fine whatever I'm not doing it." Max explained as he walked off. It was upsetting to see everyone arguing but there was hardly nothing I could do to convince him to help.
