The summer is finally here!
I keep throwing things in my boxes, running around hoping that nothing slips my mind.
First thing to know about me: I'm used to last minute packing.
I'm used to late minute anything.
My legs run around the room, as if programmed, making me look like some banshee idiot who's head is on fire while my roommate comically watches me.
"Is this the part where I tell you I told you so?"
My eyes roll, not giving her a second of my time, while I rush into our en suite bathroom.
"Well is it?" She ask again as I enter back into the room pouring whatever my hand and mind had worked together to pick from the bathroom into my bag.
Toothpaste? Check.
Brush? Check.
Towel? Check.
Facials? Check.
Where the hell is my cleanser.?
"Is it what?" I ask, rummaging through my already scattered bag searching for the tube.
"Is this the part where I tell you I told you so?" She ask again, moving from her bed and sitting on the edge of mine.
I finally find the tube only to throw it back into the bag and turn to face her.
"Yes it is. Now get off my bed."
"Well, I told you so. You're going to regret packing last minute, I offered to help you pack your bag." She said, ignoring what I said.
"And I declined." I said pulling my pillow from under her weight. "Plus, if you're so helpful, why aren't you helping me now." My hands travel to my hips as I glare at her.
"Because I hate doing things under pressure." She stands up from my bed and sashays to hers. I just rolled my eyes, again, and called her things in my head I won't say to her face, not because I'm a coward but because I don't have time.
I'm doing the last minute check when I'm interrupted by a knock on my door.
"Cass, are you there?" My ears pick up a familiar voice.
"No, I finally died and went to heaven." I answer sarcastically, walking towards the door and opening it to a very familiar face of Spencer Parker.
"You wish." He scoffed. "Are you ready?"
"Yes," I run my hand through my hair, "I just need to change. No way am I going to my friend's place dressed like this."
"Ok then, let me help with these." He said motioning to my box.
He walked over to them and only then did he notice Vera.
Yes, her name is Vera. Was her bust always pushed out like that or is it just me? I could have sworn she was flatter this morning. The only thing making her chest side sight worthy was her pendant. A gold heart with a pink gem in the middle.
Oh well. I walk into the bathroom while they exchange pleasantries.
I walk out wearing a camisole with and unbuttoned shirt and shorts.
"Ok Spence, let's go." Grabbing my bag from my bed while doing a last minute check as Spence takes over my box.
"Vera for the love of everything black, I'm begging you take care of the room while I'm gone. Please don't go near my bed. Especially with your boyfriend!"
I bang the door and walk down the hallways with Spence by my side.
"Was her chest pushed out more than usual or was it just me?"
